Default Bollywood Films

Yes, Vudu does have a deal with Eros Entertainment, meaning there is a great number of Bollywood titles available.

Yes. I'm looking at one right now and it is an Eros International film in Hindi with English subtitles.

It might be helpful to tell us the title of the movie you were watching.

Gosh, Ed, I wasn't actually watching the movie but looking at a placard. It was late and I was trying to get a simple answer out there. Let me go pull it up again.

OK, it is Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

I'm looking at the poster for Nanhe Jaisalmer and it too is in Hindi with English subtitles.

I can attest that Devdas is also subtitled.

I would hope that all foreign-language movies are, but if you see one that is not, please report it in the Bugs & Error Reports sub-forum.

Not all foreign films are subtitled. I frequently go to the Music Box here in Chicago and sometimes the foreign flicks have them and other times they don't. I've seen about 30 over the last 5 years (some forcefully).

One can assume its up to the director and distributor to determine if they do get subtitles. Some directors are really picky about subtitles cluttering up their artistic work.
