I have Space Jam and it still shows up. I would call Vudu tech support.

Where did you originally redeem the movies? Typically, this means the company you redeemed the films from have the incorrect ALID in place. I would contact their customer support team to make sure they are properly transferring the movie to your UV account.

Re: Ultraviolet movies NOT showing on Vudu

I've contacted Ultraviolet and they asked me to unlink and relink my account. That did not correct the issue, so I have escalated it to their support team.

I initially redeemed the movies through Flixster and they are showing in my Ultraviolet account but for whatever reason, they won't transfer to Vudu despite several other titles I have redeemed there have transferred with no issues.

I'm having problems with the exact same movies.

Vudu's previous comments on Perfect Storm were along the lines of "Flixster has the wrong legacy code on there, so go take it up with them."

I haven't even bothered bringing up Space Jam with them yet.

You'll need to contact Flixster support and notify them of the problem. UV most likely won't be able to help in this case.

It looks like Flixster may be using the incorrect ALID for each movie. The ALID allows you to sync the movies across accounts.

              What is ALID?

From what Dan said, it sounds like a unique ID (Licensing ID?) that UV assigns and all UV partners use to confirm the rights to a specific item with a specific account. So if Flixster is using the wrong ALID, UV doesn't know which movie you're supposed to have (and there probably is no movie or show with that ID, like being one off on a SSN or misspelling a web page URL).

It means "Asset Logical ID" - it's a semi-abstract concept of a content ownership, vs. "APID" (Asset Physical ID) which identifies a specific physical representation of the content (such as a DVD or digital stream). And in case you are interested... an ALID can also have "media profiles" (SD or HD).

So ownership of content is determined by an ALID + media profile. These two pieces of information are added to the UV locker by the service you redeemed with, for example, to give you "Space Jam" in "SD".

This ALID is then used to match the movies in your UV account with movies in the VUDU catalog. So what Dan is saying is Flixster may be using the wrong ALID for Space Jam, etc.

And FYI, I just bought Space Jam with a test account on VUDU and it showed up almost immediately in the linked UV account. So I'm pretty sure it's not a problem on the VUDU end. (I tried to log into Flixster to see if they now knew about it but they were having "technical difficulties" )

A friend of mine actually got these two movies through the Flixster program and they show up fine on his Vudu and Ultraviolet account. Mine shows in Ultraviolet but not Vudu.

Surely someone can fix this issue for me. Seems like a lot of runaround to me.

                        Herno,

You may still be stuck with the old ALID. If we could fix it for you, we would be happy to do so. You'll need to contact the company you redeemed the movie with.

I also have this problem with some of the movies mentioned. But also a more recent one Blade Runner 30th anniversary edition will not show up in my Vudu but will in UV and flixster. Any help on this? seeing as how it was just newly released.

Re: Ultraviolet movies NOT showing on Vudu

This seems to be an on going problem, I have had this issue with Cowboy & Aliens AND Sherlock Holmes 2. I have even sent scans of my redemption codes and was promsied a fix, but I never heard back. It's been at least a month probably two. Customer service really sucks.

Now I realize my first mistake, stupid me I followed the directions on the movie, and went to Ultraviolet to put in the code, which sent it to flixster who does not "share" with Vudu evidently. So when I bought the Lorax, I logged into Vudu and did it there and it worked.

That however is not a total fix. When trying to put in Magic Mike today, it tells me my code is invalid. HOW can it be invalid I just opened a brand new blueray combo pack two seconds before trying to put the code in.

I've emailed support, but frankly I don't hold out any hope here. I never have this trouble when doing iTunes digital movies, back when that was the default. Now everyone does Ultraviolet and frankly it bites. If it wasn't for wanting the blu ray and regular dvd, I damn sure would never buy a combo pack with Ultraviolet ever again.

I am going to start emailing and complaining to Warner Brothers, Paramount or which ever studio has released the dvd everytime ultraviolet doesn't work, I urge everyone to do so. MAYBE either they'll go back to iTunes or some other service or fix ultraviolet.

I am having a similar issue with Lawless, except that was redeemed through Vudu. It still won't show up under my movies on my Xbox 360 or blu ray player. Just will show up to view on my laptop or IPad.
