Thanks, Robert! I think, I'll just stick with using my UPS. Owning one has been taught me a few things. My Tripp Lite models show voltage on LCD and I found it surprising how much it fluctuates. I also discovered that power outage doesn't necessary mean 0 V. I think last time we had an outage, it dropped to 50-60 V. But, anyway, UPSs are cool
