    Problem with VuDu and PS3

I downloaded the app from the Playstation Store, installed it. But when I launch it I get an error message. It says "failed to fetch". "Detail: error when downloading bundle". I've tried deleting and reinstalling it, restarting but it still doesn't work.

Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know how to fix it? Is there an issue with the VuDu network?

If you are familiar with your router, you should try and open ports 8100-8199 for the ps3

I have a Belkin Wireless/wired G router and just enabled the inbound port from 8100-8199. But I still can't get it to work. Should it be TCP or UDP? I also set the private port to the same 8100-8199.

Also, I don't know much of anything about networking so I don't really know what I'm doing here.

I am having the same problem as this user is. I have opened up the suggested ports for tcp and udp ports and the same result happens I can't load up the app. My ps3 slim is connected on a wireless router that is in the same room so signal strength is not an issue. I have also noticed if you keep trying to let vudu to connect and fail I get disconnected from psn and I can't sign back on. The only way to sign back on to psn is to exit the vudu app and sign back in the main xmb sign in to reconnect to the psn.

It should be TCP, we have also had success placing devices in DMZ.

I too am having the same exact problem. I haven been able to get the vudu app to work a few times thought. its like a luck of the draw kind of deal. Sometimes if it doesnt load up the first time, I'll reset the ps3 and try again and it will work. I dont know if this issue is strictly internet connection related or if it is just a bug working its way out. Other then that I am enjoying the vudu app when it works properly.

I to have the same issue as listed above. I have been able to sign on a few times and enjoy the vudu experience. From what I have seen so far I like it. Far as launching the app sometimes I will restart my system and try again and it will work. Majority of the time it is like a shot in the dark on wether it will load completely or not. I to have done what was listed before. I am not sure if this is strictly an internet connection problem or just a bug working its way out. All in all, besides this minor inconvinence right now I enjoy havin vudu on my ps3.

Heyas, I am having the same problem but only when I take my ps3 to my friends house. Could the issue be with the Belkin router by chance? My friend is using Belkin also whereas I have a Lynksys at my house. I used to have Belkin also but it somehow caused issues with my phone which I get through my cable provider, don't ask me how it was making my phone unable to connect, but it was. my cable provider told me that they have been having those problems with the belkin routers. Could this be the same type of issue? and if so can there be a way to fix it? hate to not be able to watch anything from Vudu at my friends house since its where I spend most my time.

I am also having this same problem. I opened the 8100-8199 and have tried setting the PS3 as a DMZ without any success. I either get an error about not being able to download a bundle, Operation Timeout, it stays on the "Running VUDU Movies..." screen indefinitely, or it kicks me back out to the XMB. It also boots me from the Playstation network.

Sony, Netflix, and HULU Plus streaming services work flawlessly without changing settings on my router. Do you really think your average WalMart shopper is going to know how to get into a router and change these settings? I'm very eager to try your service and have heard great things so I look forward to a resolution to this problem.

I am having this same problem. I have gotten into the app several times before with no problems whatsoever. Then I went onto the Vudu website, and changed my password, and now every time I try to open the app, I get all of these errors, and it signs me out of PSN. I don't know if changing my password had anything to do with it or not, but I'd really like some help getting this fixed. Forwarding the ports did nothing.

I too am having the exact same problem. I am also using a Belkin Wireless G router. I've tried all the suggestions posted here, even placing the router in DMZ mode, but still the error message. Please help as I would really like to use this.
