Horror of Dracula (HDX) Speed Up Issue

First up hello! I am new here! I just did my first batch of disc to digital titles, and noticed a strange issue with Horror of Dracula. Basically, the film tends to speed up at random points when there is no dialogue or sound effects happening on the audio track. It reminds me a bit of when a movie is shown on TV and time compressed to fit into a time slot. I would think there is an issue with the file itself if not for the fact that it was only happening when there is no sound, which would lead me to believe it was done intentionally, since it would be much more obvious during dialogue. I checked my DVD version and the issue is not present there. Otherwise, the film looks great in HD! Has anyone else had this issue with this movie?

    Hello Eric,

Our apologies for the issue you encountered with the movie. Do you have a time stamp on when the issues occur? I'll review and get it filed for re-encode.

      Hi,
Thanks for the reply! I first notice it at the 7:07 point. It is fairly subtle here...at the 8:30 it becomes much more obvious and obtrusive. It continues at multiple points throughout the film.

I tested this on a LG BDP, but wasn't able to reproduce it. What type of device are you using for playback?

I was able to see the issue on the PS3 as well.

I'll see what we can work out to get it fixed.
