DanielH - Can Vudu change the images used for one of their movies?

The 1992 movie Godzilla vs Mothra is showing the cover art for the 1964 movie Godzilla vs Mothra (aka Godzilla vs The Thing). I know it may seem minor, but it is kind of annoying.

I opened up a ticket some time ago, but they never fixed it.

So..do you guys have the ability to change that kind of stuff? Or are you dependent upon the distributor?

    The case number was 10925803....

There were several issues in that ticket, and my request about the cover came during the conversation and not in the very first post.

None of the issues seem to have been corrected though. Which I believe is probably due to the studio more than Vudu.

Crimson Rivers: Angels Of The Apocalypse also has the wrong cover.

Vudu is showing the cover for the original The Crimson Rivers. Angels Of The Apocalypse is the sequel and has a different cover.

      http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content...the-Apocalypse

This is the correct cover for Angels Of The Apocalypse:

      The Crimson Rivers (2000) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0228786/
The Crimson Rivers: Angels Of The Apocalypse (2004) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0337103/

Vudu still showing artwork from the wrong movie

You would think showing an image from the wrong movie would be something they would want to fix

I wouldn't think they would care about fixing it. The old Toho movies are awesome but they aren't exactly a hugely popular item. If there exists somewhere in the digital realm an art film about how cutting the crust from a sandwich led to such great sorrow for a child that their entire life turned so dark that they eventually became an oppressive dictator who started world war 3; that movie would probably have a higher number of redemptions. So it would be like having the cover of a different movie that had a lone sandwich sitting on a plate.

I've asked Sony to verify the art. I will update when I get a response.

                      Thank you very much.

As tight as Toho is with the trademarks and film rights, you would think Sony would take more care to push out the right covers.

I have the blu rays that came with the digital codes for redemption if you need any verification from me

This is the SD version of that movie with English dubbing on your website

Just to note - I've pinged Sony again about this. I'm still waiting for confirmation.

                            Thank you.

I really hope they fix it. I know it probably isn't one of their more popular titles, but they still have an obligation to customers to give them what they paid for.

This title has been cursed from Day 1. Flixster and Target Ticket used to have the right cover, but when you tried to play it either failed (Target) or played the wrong movie (Flixster)

Sony has confirmed that the current artwork we have is correct.
