Re: DanielH - Can Vudu change the images used for one of their movies?

They are wrong and they are stupid

I can show you that the cover you are using is the cover from the Simitar dvd release of the 1964 movie.

The movie you have is the 1990's movie.....not the 1964 movie.

    How do I contact them?

What they are confirming is that you have the cover that they sent you...you DO have the cover that they sent you.

      That isn't the problem.

The problem is that THEY are using the wrong cover in the first place.

Again...the issue isn't simply that they sent you the wrong cover, the issue that THEY are using the wrong cover..

This is the cover of the Simitar DVD release of Godzilla vs Mothra (1964) as well as info showing that this movie was released in 1964

THIS is the actual movie that Sony has available on Vudu and was released via blu ray by them
It is the 1992 movie that they released, not the 1964 version.

Re: DanielH - Can Vudu change the images used for one of their movies?

I found an email for their digital department..

          This is what I sent:

"I bought this blu ray set back when you first released it in 2014. It came with the Ultraviolet code to redeem for the digital copies of the 2 movies.
          https://www.amazon.com/Godzilla-Vs-K.../dp/B00IQAUO2A

However, the cover that you are using for the Ultraviolet version of Godzilla vs Mothra (1992) is the wrong cover.

You are using (and sending out to the UV Locker) the cover from the movie Mothra vs Godzilla that was released in 1964. Two totally different movies. Even the artwork depicts a VERY clear difference in the way Godzilla and Mothra look. The Godzilla movie YOU released was made in 1992.

Furthermore, in 1998 Simitar released the 1964 Mothra vs Godzilla movie (renamed as Godzilla Versus Mothra) and you are actually using the cover from THEIR DVD/VHS release.

Here is the cover you are using for Godzilla vs Mothra (1992) on Ultraviolet..
          http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content...illa-vs-Mothra

Here are links showing that that image is ACTUALLY the cover Simitar used on their release of the 1964 movie Mothra vs Godzilla / Godzilla versus Mothra

Please correct the cover artwork that you are supplying the UV locker for this item"
