I remember that Netflix changed their system as it hurt their re-negotiation with studios when other competitors got hold of the information. Also they might end up getting an agreement to keep a title, so might be hard to provide accurate info but some kind of possibility it was gonna be leaving, even a week before would be nice

Well, I meant I wish I'd been aware that Yes, Minister Season 1 was leaving. I wonder why individual seasons would leave.

I don't think it works right.

The one or two times I received an email about a title on my wishlist becoming unavailable, the titles actually remained available.

There have been plenty of movies in my wishlist that were removed from vudu without any notification though.

I agree, a 'Leaving Soon' page with an accurate list of anything leaving the service soon (say, in the next 2 weeks or so) would be great. vudu should definitely have the info on when licensing agreements expire so in theory it should be a relatively easy page to implement

A lot of us have had movies on our wishlist that Vudu stopped carrying but we didn't get notified

    Hmmm...interesting

It would be nice to get feedback in this thread from a Vudu support agent / mod

It would give people one last chance to get that movie or series they've been putting off while also giving the companies final sales an extra boost, it's a win win for all.

You would think that they would jump at the chance to make some type of notification system, since it would result in extra sales for them.

Hulu has a section right on top of your watchlist that shows you any of your items that are scheduled to leave and when

Yeah, I've had stuff in my wishlist that went away without any warning

I don't think that happens anymore. I had "She's Got to Have it" on my wish list. Went to purchase it one day and it was gone.

I just noticed Wrongfully Accused is no longer available...is there a way to get notified or see updates about what is going to be removed before it leaves? That way, we can purchase it. Sometimes I have stuff on my wishlist that takes a back burner, but if I knew it was leaving I would change that and buy immediately.
Working...
