HBO and SHO have good series (Dexter is especially popular, but there are also Weeds, Entourage, and others), but a lot of good series is now being developed by basic cable networks. Aside from stuff on AMC (like Hustle or Mad Men), USA has a lot of less edgy shows (Monk, Psych, In Plain Sight, Closer, Burn Notice, etc.) and F/X has more raw & edgy fare like The Shield, Nip/Tuck and Damages.

Isn't USA Network just as mainstream as SciFI, TLC and Animal planet?

While I do appreciate VUDU adding TV content... I personally am only interested in more mainstream content and would therefore prefer to see some more TV shows from stations like the Sci Fi Channel, NBC, CBS, ABC, TLC, and Animal Planet, etc.

If they could land The Office & 30 Rock... they would be way ahead of the competitors.

And why not offer a season pass deal while they are at it?

Get the whole season for X amount of dollars.
