I immediately purchased the first episode of The Smurfs, a childhood favorite of mine. I forgot that they use the word "Smurf" as noun, verb, adjective, adverb, etc.

I noticed that Bugs Bunny was also added including the classic "What's Opera Doc" Kill da wabbit episode.

I think, the shows have been out for a few days, haven't they? At least, I read about them in the weekly VUDU email (7/3).

Anyway, it's nice to see more TV content on the box, but Vudu should try to get HD versions. It's really puzzling to see studios have HD shows on the air, but not release them on high-def media and HD VOD.

Comcast has some shows in HD for free VOD like CSI. But very few shows. I think the idea of purchasing HD content via EST (Electronic Sell-Through) has still not caught on...

That's too bad. There needs to be a better legal alternative to torrents or Usenet for HDTV. I guess, I can always hook up HDHomerun that I got along with my Vudu on eBay (or I could sell it and buy TiVo HD, lol).
