    Testing Content for 3D Support

Are there some trailers or free clips in 3D that I can use to ensure it works on my TV before I buy a 3D movie?

You can watch the first 2 minutes of any movie free.

I thought about that solution, but I'd have to guess which movie shows 3D in the first 2 minutes? Or will I see an error if it doesn't like my TV?

If a movie is 3D it will be the entire movie - so, yes, your TV should tell you/switch to 3D mode as soon as it starts.

As far as finding 3D content, I think all of the 3D movies say "(3D)" in the title and have "3D" on the poster in the lower left corner.

Most of these listed are 3D (just searching for the term "3D"): http://www.vudu.com/movies/#search/3d

There's several 3D demos out there. "3d demo" will get you two Tangled and one Tron 3D demo. They're only 1-3 min though.

You Can buy The Best of Abi Dhabi Hotels in 3D for $0.99 !
Same for Vancouver 3D, Queen Mary 3D

There are also Disney 3D and many other shorts for around $4.99

I also found the 3D Collection. Lots of films to choose.

I tried the 2 minute preview of The Desolation of Smaug, and it was indeed 3D right from the start. Even the WB logo was in 3D. Seems to work just fine.

Now I just need to pick which movie to watch first!
