Yep, my newest TV is a 2016 LG 65UH8500. LG's 4K UHD with passive 3D gives a full 1920x1080 HD picture for the 3D content. The 4K UHD with 3D was the Unicorn, the Holy Grail, and apparently only available for a very short time. I had a gut feeling around Christmas 2016 that this would be the last chance, and glad I acted on it. Wish I'd had the money for the OLED model but I'm happy with what I got. I will not be buying another new TV as long as this one lasts.
My last few 3D discs came from (you ain't gonna believe this) the $5-and-under discount rack at Big Lots.
The other, more current titles came from overseas. Last Jedi and Solo came from amazon.uk, and I found a Korean copy of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets on ebay (thankfully with the Korean captions turned off it was a pure English language release).
Side note: Valerian is one of the best examples of 3D content done well that I have ever seen. The blurb on the back says "A Visual Masterpiece" and it is not a lie.

I ask since in order to get a new TV with Passive 3D, we had to buy a 2016 model in 2017.

No - 3D is NOT dead. You only hear this from those who don't use it. Because movie theater operators are greedy and charge an unnecessary premium to view 3D with an inferior presentation public interest has indeed waned. For those of us who own quality 3D viewing displays it is a vibrant, exciting way to enjoy the medium. If the theaters were to get over their greed, if the quality of presentation would equal that of 2D (and in theaters that is even questionable), and 3D displays were once again available at reasonable cost then one would see 3D regain interest.

Is there a setting on the TV to combine the images? My LG has that option.

Jumanji 3D is displaying side by side instead of in 3D all my other 3D movies are fine. How do I resolve this?

FYI, during Vudu's Horror Movie sale, Piranha 3DD is just $3.99...very cheap for a Vudu 3D title!

Also, JL 3D plays side by side video on unsupported 3D devices . All other 3D movies give you the pop up about being a unsupported device ...

Apparently Vudu hasn?t stopped support of 3D after all....they just aren?t adding the new titles to the 3D page. I was searching for Jumanji and there is a 2D/3D bundle for the new Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. So I did another search for Justice League and sure enough, there is a 2D/3D combo of it.
