How often does the 3d selection get updated/get new movies?

So I got an oculus last year and later found out about vudu 3d being the only place to buy/stream 3d movies. I don’t think I have seen the 3d collection section change since I found it last year.
I know that you just have to search random movies to find others, but was hoping they would add new movies more often…or at all lol
It’s also weird to see it offer some movies of a series in 3d, but not others. Like the hobbit movies, Thor movies, avengers, etc. Or why some movies are rent only like Jurassic world.

Now I know I don’t have a big collection by any means, but I’m working on buying most of the 3d movies they have. Usually buy at least one movie a pay period, more when then are sale.

Just really don’t want to have to invest a 3d burner/player for my pc and then have to shop for 3d movies, though that is looking better and better after finding 3d disc rental websites.

3D is largely dead, at least in the United States. TV manufacturers largely abounded it in favor of 4K. I don’t think any 4K disc players even support 3D; or they’re rare. You don’t see 3D in theaters quite as much as you used too. Only a handful of 3D BD are released in the US ash year. Now if you want to get a region free 3D disc player and import Chinese discs; pretty much everything is 3D there even stuff that isn’t 3D released any where else in the world. Sorry.

I think Boss Baby 2 was the most recent 3D title added- I bought that on disc from Korea though as I prefer discs whenever possible. Sadly it seems the new Jurassic World will not be released on 3D disc, I'm desperate enough for that one that I would buy it in 3D from Vudu if it were available.

I find China gets more 3D releases then elsewhere. They pretty much insist on a 3D version even when not 3D in theaters or any other county.

Surprising there is no home 3D version. But then it ended up be so universally panned by fans and critics alike. Adding more expense to a separate conversion and disc pressing might have been more than they wanted to spend. Right now anyway. I’m sure there will be a 3D disc down the road, but streaming is a coin toss.

interestingly JW will have an extended version though. We’ll have to see which is a better film. If they did do a 3D version it would likely only be the theatrical I suspect.

I love how the $110 and even the $190 ultimate collections of all six movies doesn’t include 3D of any movie. Likewise it seems also not the extended version.
