    AV skipping during playback

I sent another request for support in yesterday and called as a follow up as I was having skipping problems on the movie hurt locker. Apparently they re-opened my support ticket for the same problem from zombieland.

Here is a summary of what I have found thus far:

    1. Skipping occurs roughly every 1-2 minutes during movie download when the download progress is ahead of playback- therefore it is not a buffering issue.
    2. Skipping occurs less frequently during movie playback after movie has been completely downloaded. For zombieland this was about a dozen times during downloaded playback and for Hurt Locker it has about every 2-3 minutes.
    3. I thought that using VUDU labs may have caused the first incident, but on the recent rental Hurt locker I did not use VUDU labs, nor have I used it since zombieland and a box reset
    4. The Playback and progress bar appear on screen every time a skip appears.
    5. Moving the scroll wheel on the remote one step ahead has the same effect as the automatic skip. I have removed the batteries from the remote to see if the remote is somehow causing it. The skips during playback still remain regardless of battery in/out status.
    6. A number of other wireless items reside in my AV stack- Squeezebox music streamer, Panasonic Wireless IP camera and Logitech Harmony 900 RF Remote. Wondering if those are causing it
    7. I eliminated the Harmony 900 Remote from the equation last night by removing the batteries and unplugging the RF blaster, so it's not the Harmony.
    MOST importantly:
    8. Unplugging the RF antenna solves the issue so the antenna is picking up some RF interference

Has anyone else experienced this and have they solved this RF interference issue?

    Hijumper --

It sounds as though you are experiencing RF interference. Have you tried to pair your VUDU remote yet? Here are instructions on how to pair your VUDU box with your VUDU remote, so that it will only receive commands from your remote and no other RF product in or around your house.

Please let us know if this solves the issue.
