Problems with 2 titles (Jurassic Park and Congo)

I submitted these via the traditional support, but it's been several weeks and I haven't even heard if they've been acknowledged, so I'm giving it another go here.

I'll like report technical problems with 2 of the titles I've recently purchased.

    Jurassic Park: http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content/5052
The Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack is completely wrong. The channels are all mis-mapped so that the center channel is coming out of the left speaker. The left front comes out the left surround and the right front sounds to be coming out the the right surround. This defect is present in all three versions (SD, HD, and HDX) and makes the movie rather unwatchable.

    second...

    Congo: http://www.vudu.com/movies/#!content/14398/Congo
Congo is cropped in both the HD and HDX high def versions. It's cropped with black bars on the left and right side while the SD version shows the correct full widescreen frame.

Hopefully you can correct these issues quickly.

VUDU!!!!! DO YOU EVEN CARE TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS?!?!?!

IT'S BEEN WELL OVER A YEAR SINCE THIS WAS BROUGHT TO YOUR ATTENTION AND YOU'VE DONE NOTHING ABOUT IT!!!! IT MAKES YOU LOOK INCOMPETENT (or at the very least, inattentive).

And I spent actual money on these title, neither of which I have been able to enjoy in the year+ since I purchased them.

EITHER FIX THEM OR START ISSUING REFUNDS!!!!

There are some Vudu staff that read the forums, but only a handful. Have you bothered to file a ticket?

Yes, I did. March 7, 2013. The back and forth with Vudu CS was... annoying. It seems like all they do is process your complaint and then just continue emailing you asking if you're still experiencing the issue. It never actually gets fixed. It's almost like Vudu customer service works on the do nothing principal. If they do nothing long enough, they think the problems will eventually fix themselves.

For the record... MANY people have complained about Jurassic Park and it has YET to be fixed. I'm baffled as to how a company like this, that wants to compete with Apple and iTunes, can just do NOTHING to fix this defective issue (on a MAJOR title) for well over a year+.

Just got a message back from vudu. After they told me it was my device, and then I told them I tried it on 2 different devices (roku and PS3) with a 7.1 reciever that decodes all current audio formats. After I messaged that I got this response:

Hello and Thank you for contacting VUDU customer care,

There is a known issue with the way this title has been encoded to us from the movie studio. We do apologize for the inconveneince. At this time there is no resolution for this matter.

Now this forum topic is over a year old and I just recieved this message today. Obviously there is an issue, and obviously they are not fixing it (or even pulling the movie so others do not waste their money on it). Now it might not be noticeable on setups that are not surround sound, but for those of us with full set-ups this is not watchable.

Yeah, it's really unfortunate that the Jurassic Park audio issue still persists after all this time. And who knows why it hasn't been. I can't imagine that the studio wasn't able to provided a corrected copy.

DanielH just posted that said Vudu got a new audio encode that fixed the audio issue with JP. Haven't tested it out yet but on another thread he said the issue has been fixed.
