    I use a Roku, a Samsung soundbar, and an LG TV and I have the same issue EVERY 4K UHD movie is just slightly out of sync. It's just slight enough to notice and it's really irritating.

    I have the same issue with my roku Soundbar. All 4K content audio is out of sync. I emailed about it months ago and no one ever got back to me about it. I suppose they don’t want roku users to buy/watch 4K content.

    Nobody has responded to my topic so since this is related I guess I'll try here. On both my roku TVs (one ~4 years old and one brand new), all 4k/hdr movies on VUDU have the audio out of sync. Playing the same movies on other services (Disney+ etc.) doesn't have any issues. Is there anything I can do to remedy this or am i just forced to bring every movie I spent tons of money on down to 1080p HDX?

    I notice that on both of these I own the SD version and I am using an AppleTV 4K.
    Had the same issue with the the Roku but not on my Sony BD player, but Roku's are pretty crappy when it comes to Vudu, plus most of the new streamers all have mics, I don't like that having mics on everything, old school bd players, no worry about that. Siri can bite me.. and so can whatever Google calls their cyber woman.. Google Assistant I believe....

    We just bought Big Bang Theory as well. I have notice audio sync issues in the past and usually if you just use the back 15 seconds feature on the remote, that will sync it up. But with BBT every single episode starts out about 2 seconds out of sync, even when you are binge watching and it starts a new episode at the end of the previous episode. And the back 15 seconds trick doesn’t work, I have to fast forward A couple minutes then rewind again, but if you rewind all the way to the start it won’t work. I usually have to go forward and back several times to get the audio in sync. This is unacceptable after spending $100 to be able to watch the whole series, it is impossible to watch with the 2 second delay.
    I certainly hope they figure out how to fix this and release an update or something soon.

    When I watch a movie, its fine. However when I watch a TV show, namely Battlestar Galactica or The Big Bang Theory (Which i just purchased for $100.00) its at last 2 to 3 seconds delayed. What's up with this?????

    I'll see if I'm able to reproduce this issue in the office.

    Could you provide the following:
    • Audio settings on the ROKU
    • What is your setup AVR? TV? (Model number for each)
    • What quality of the movie is being played?
    • Exact model number of the Ultra

    I have discovered that, when a title starts out of sync as I?ve described earlier, I can back up several frame blocks back in the app, reload it and it?ll eventually sync correctly. Sometimes I have to do this several times before it finally loads correctly. This has not been a issue on any of my other Roku devices, only my Roku Ultra. Not sure if it?s the device (no other app, Netflix, Hulu, Pluto TV, Disney +, etc. has this issue on the device) or the app for the Roku Ultra. But I suspect it is the app?s compatibility with the Roku Ultra and it needs a big fix applied. I hope someone from Vudu is reading this and taking notes.

    This is also the case with ?Evening Star.? It seems to be prevalent in films from the mid 90?s but I?ll keep reporting here as I test that theory...
