    Low talking, loud action

I've noticed that the audio in any movie I watch on the Xbox 360 Vudu app is very quiet during normal scenes of just talking, but it gets really loud during action scenes with explosions or gunfire. I don't have any sort of digital home theater system, as I can't afford one at this time. I'm only using the standard two-speaker stereo setting on my TV. My TV is a Sanyo DP26649 HDTV from 2009, which doesn't have all the advanced features that today's Smart TVs have, so my audio options are sort of limited. I've fiddled around with the advanced manual audio settings and was able to increase the voice audio. However, the action scenes are still entirely too loud and I find myself reaching for the remote to lower the volume quite often throughout any movie I'm watching. Is there any way this can be fixed. I'm very satisfied with the picture quality and the selection of movies Vudu provides is very appealing. It's just this audio issue that annoys me. Ever other video/movie app sounds fine on my TV. Netflix, YouTube, and regular cable networks all sound fine. It's only the Vudu app I'm having this issue with. I've reset my TV and I've even reset my modem and wifi router, as suggested to me by one of your customer service people, but that didn't help much. So far, I've only bought all six Star Wars movies from your service, as well as Raiders of the Lost Ark. I've noticed this issue isn't quite as bad with the Original Star Wars Trilogy as with the Prequel Trilogy, but the issue does affect all six movies. Does it have to do with the way movies are mixed today? Is it a local issue with the Vudu app? Do I need a home theater system to enjoy my movies? As I said, I'm unable to afford one and would like to enjoy my movies without having to buy any extra audio equipment. If there isn't a fix for this, is there a way to get my money back for the movies I've purchased? Is there a possible fix that I'm just not seeing?

Movies are mastered in the studio (even digital copies) because you own these titles you are getting the direct Dolby digital transfer and yes spoken words are often mixed at a different level than when explosions happen. Your hindered by the fact your using stereo TV speakers and cannot adjust the levels. Most people with say a 5.1 channel receiver can manually adjust or have the receiver do a level adjustment with an attached microphone to make all six channels balance out so that the center channel is raised higher to evenly match the main stereo speakers so that the decibel levels are more even. Which is why those with receivers and five speakers don't notice the jump in sound quality. With stereo speakers and TV speakers at that this is why the spoken words are at one level and loud explosion and action scenes and music are mixed at a higher level. Until you upgrade your sound system sadly it's gonna be a situation of using your remote constantly to lower your volume during action scenes and raising the volume when slower scenes of people talking is on screen. The reason your Netflix seems more balanced is they balance the levels the same for everyone as their movies and shows are not owned and shared by everyone and they realize some people have eloborate systems and some have simple stereo speakers in a TV so they adjusted the audio levels so that no matter what you use the sound is equal but with Vudu the copy you buy is a studio master and mixed by the studio for each individual channel and you can't adjust those levels till you buy a multi channel receiver.
