No Dolby Vision on Vizio smartcast app

Just noticed the other day that all my 4K movies were now playing back in HDR10 instead of DV. I hope this is just a temporary issue.

I have noticed that after firmware 6.0.18.1 update my 2017 Vizio M can no longer play Dolby Vision from the Vudu app.

So when you cast to your TV you don't' see the DV, or when you open the Vudu app and play the content?

Could you give me the firmware version your TV is running? Could you also give me the Vudu widget version? Also, a specific title you're not able to play in DV.

I have DV when I cast vudu from my phone to my 2019 Vizio M TV. But when I use the vudu app on my Vizio tv itself, the DV is gone and replaced by HDR10.

I'm going to send you a PM. I'd like to gather your Vudu account info so I can take a look at your streaming sessions.

Vizio Vudu App is broken again and not playing Dolby vision. I have a vision 50 inch 2019 M series TV, it was not able to play Dolby vision a few months ago but was fixed in late June-July 2019, but as of now/recently it is broken again. Unable to play Dolby vision via the Vudu app on the tv. But if I cast the Vudu app from my phone, it will play Dolby Vision
