I'm sorry to hear you are having a problem playing HD. Please post your Vudu's system id (looks like 0x12ab). You can find it in info and settings. This will let the Vudu CSR's pull the log from your Vudu and see what happened.

What is your TV's make/model? Be exact as possible.

What is your connection type between the Vudu and the TV?

What resolution were you running at?

About what time did you experience the glitch?

I tried and it didn't lock up on me. Can you try to reboot your VUDU (Pull the plug), and then play the movie again to see if the same issue happens when you forward/rewind the movie.

There was another post were someone had almost the same type of issue and a reboot solved it.

If it does please post back along with your box id. Someone from VUDU can analyze the logs from your box and determine if its a bug that needs to be fixed.

      Thanks for reporting....

We are too. That's why it really is important that you post your System ID and the approximate time of day (with timezone) that it happened. If there is a bug in HD playback, we gotta catch it now.

Just a note that this is version 1 of the software and there are always some bug here or there that hasn't been discovered. But I am glad if worked for you.

One thing. Can you post your System id. It on the bottom of your box and starts with 0x.

This will help VUDU debug what happend and make the software even better....

The Vudu engineers want to know all about your A/V setup. Also let us know your internet connection type, ISP, and if you are wired or wireless.

I am connected via HDMI to a Onkyo receiver and the connection is Broad band with Road Runner to a wired ethernet to a Netgear router to the Vudu box.

Getting closer. Still need your TV Make/Model and what HD resolution you were using (1080i, 1080p, 720p, 480p). The devil is in the details....

Thanks. I've alerted the engineers with your complete details. They'll let you know if they need anything else. I know they take this type of issue very seriously.
