so tired of reading about low sound.

Yeah, I've been reading notes and questions posted since 2012. All sorts of suggestions, all sorts of blame on hardware setup and software on external devices. IT STARTS WITH VUDU and connects to something that keeps volume low, after 30 volume doesn't change much up to 100. Why can't VUDU have a troubleshooting solution(s) after 8 years?

Is your situation hasn't changed in 8 years then it's probably your TV that can't properly decode the audio coming from the app. Sounds like it's specific to your TVs model or AV receiver if you're using one.

Better off trying a ticket with tech support.

I have (and had other) numerous TV's with various vudu and audio set-ups and this hasn't been an issue for me in the near decade I'm been using Vudu.

Yet it only does it with Vudu and none of the dozen other services I use, and a search for "vudu audio low" shows it as an overly-reported problem. But yeah, must be my system.

Interestingly, when I do, on occasion, get a video on another service where the audio is low, I can use a plugin to adjust it. On Vudu, where it's always consistently very low, the plugin is blocked.

I tried to edit this into my previous post so as to avoid double-posting, but am apparently "unauthorized" to make a correction or addition. I apologize for the double post, then.

I have the same problem so I ask WHY is the audio from vudu so bad? It's NOT my system before you blame that. I have a top of the line lg oled 4k tv. Even after adjusting the audio on my TV it does nothing for the volume coming from vudu. I'll go over to HBO MAX and I immediately have to turn the volume down because it's blasting even though its the same show/movie i had on vudu. This is a vudu problem and from what I've read too many of your customers complain about the exact same thing. The response from vudu is to blame the person's tv or audio system. How about taking some responsibility and fixing the problem??
