    Won't Let Me Rent 3D on PS3

I have a 3D capable Mitsubishi TV and am using Vudu through my Playstation 3

Unfortunately, when I try to rent a 3D movie, Vudu comes back with a message that I don't appear to have a 3D capable set and it wont let me watch it

    How to resolve this?

How about a warning that I dont appear to have a 3D set, but if I really want to watch it anyway, OK

Why block someone from watching it just because you don't recognize the equipment?

Its going to be awfully hard to stay abreast of all the different equipment every day

    What can I do?

Same here on a Mitsubishi WD65738 going through a 3DA-1 convertor box so it can support additional 3D formats.. Using all HDMI 1.4 cables.

You will be unable to rent 3D titles until early next week.

            "Early" next week has passed.
Should I continue to hope fror "late" next week?
Or does "next week" need another week or two?

Re: Won't Let Me Rent 3D on PS3

Sony just uploaded the patch. The next time you start VUDU on a PS3 you will be asked to install our patch which will enable 3D support for PS3 ( with a 3D capable TV, of course)

Have you tried playing any 3D games or 3D Blu-Ray movies on the PS3? If not, could you try re-running the PS3 Video Setup in the system menu? You will need to be using HDMI to connect the TV, and the video setup should detect 3D support. If it doesn't, then it's an issue with PS3 not recognizing the Samsung TV as 3D-capable.
