    Declines Usable Bank Card

    We've had no trouble up until yesterday with our bank card. It says that it was declined and there is MORE than enough money in my account we've tried 2 different cards from 2 different accounts and it says "declined" each time. Please HELP!!!!! We like Vudu and would like to stay with Vudu but if this keeps up I will have to look elsewhere...HELP!!!

      It's not just you. The service across the board is not accepting payments correctly. I'm trying to get the 99 cent deal. This is not about payment issues, but a technical issue on Vudu's end.

        I had the same trouble. It declined my bank card also. I have plenty of money also. I sent an email to Vudu support from which I have never heard back. An hour or so after I sent the email, my card starting working again. I'm not feeling very confident with your service. I have Netflix and I have never had any trouble and Neflix lets you make your payments through Paypal. Also, I've just tried to access Vudu from my son's XBOX 360 ...you guessed it, it's a no go. My Vudu account is linked with my Wal-Mart account. I bought a new Sony Bluray disc player last weekend. I decided to try Vudu. I followed the message stating that I could access through my Wal-Mart account instead of directly setting an account up through Vudu and now when I try to use my email address and password for Wal-Mart to activate my XBOX for Vudu it gives me an error 102 message, advising my email identity and/or password are not valid for Vudu. My Wal-Mart account is linked with Vudu, so what's the problem? I have a Net Gear box Vudu enabled device being shipped from Wal-Mart and I'm not going to be able to use it due to this issue. I could very well set up another Vudu account but then that would mean I will have to purchase the movies I already bought again. As I said, I'm a new customer who isn't feeling confident about Vudu's service. Is there a solution to my problem?

          I looked up your information and found that you have 2 accounts with VUDU. I think i can take care of the problem you're having, but i'll need to ask a few questions before i do. Please check your email.

            Hi Dan. I wanted to thank you again for your help resolving my issue. I'm now feeling very confident about Vudu. I'm happy to know I'll be receiving the best customer service in online entertainment. I'm a customer service representative in the cable industry so I know and understand how important great customer service is to promoting customer loyalty. Your NPS is a 10 Dan! Kudos to you! I love the service!

                What's the resolution for this? I'm having the same issue and can't find anything in the FAQs or Online Support to fix it! It's extremely frustrating. We were able to rent a movie and purchase two episodes and then suddenly out of nowhere, 'DECLINED!'

                  While you're waiting for a reply from Vudu, have you checked with your bank? Since digital media does not require a physical delivery address and has the potential for generating profit-making copies for criminals, banks may consider a sudden increase in digital media purchases a red flag especially if these were the first purchases you made from Vudu with this payment method.

                        I am having this same problem. We just used this card last night and it worked fine and there is money in the account. The account is linked through my husbands email. I would be happy to communicate through my email, I would just like to be able to get this fixed. Thank you!
