    Connection Failed - Roku 2xs

I get the following error Message

Country setting usa does not match location nil

Please change country setting and try again.

Now I am currently in the US so I cant understand why i am getting the error message.

I have seen a similar message when i take my roku box to London but then says
Country setting usa does not match location gbr (use box to watch netflix which is also in uk)

I have no idea what location nil refers to. Could it be my router firewall settings? though i havent changed anything recently.

    please help

You probably need to change the region on your Roku to United States.

I think it goes without saying that everyone does have the region set to US but we are still having this problem. I started with getting an "error code 12" and I deleted the channel on my Roku 3 but started getting the message everyone else is getting "country setting USA does not match nil". This is silly. I have stopped using VUDU because I can't struggle with it anymore.

If you're still having issues with this error code then please create a help ticket at the following link. We have been getting more and more cases where some ISP's are using proxies with out of country IP's.

This is now a problem with both my PS3 and my new PS4. I can connect with my tablet, my phone, all three of my Laptops. Just not with my Playstations.

Please give our support staff a call at (888)554-VUDU. This isn't something we can usually fix without gathering some information.
