Android 7.1 TV Box won't allow me to log in.

    Android 7.1 TV Box won't allow me to log in.

    First off, Does anyone work in support anymore? I put in a support ticket 2 days ago and still have not gotten a response.

    My issue is that I just got the "GooBang Doo XB-III Android 7.1 TV Box" and I was able to download and install the app from the Google Play Store, and when I go to login, it just says "Login Failed" every time I try to login. I remembered that you could only have 5 accounts locked in< which sucks since I have 2 Blu Ray players, phon, Tablet and this TV box. So i removed one of the BR Players from the account so I am at 4, but, it still says Login Failed every time I try to login. I even tried using a browsers on the same system and it failed to login.

    Any thoughts or idea's?

    Vudu does not support these types of Android TV boxes. They do not have the appropriate WideVine level built in to the boxes themselves and are not Google certified.

      Okay, so the only Android TV box that is supported is the "Xiaomi Mibox", correct?
      I was looking at that other thread:

      which only listed that one Android TV box which also was last updated on 5/3/2018. Are there any others that work or am I limited to only that one currently?

      Only reason I am wondering is that system does not have a ethernet port on it and I need to use one with a ethernet port.

        The Nvidia Shield works with our app as well. It's the best Android box on the market at the moment.

          Strangely, the Vudu application started working normally the next day after I posted the above message. The Xbox One app seems to play all movies without any problems now.

          When it was messed up, I couldn't even continue watching the movies that I listed even if they were put on the watchlist by using another device.

          I can still pm you with all the information you asked for if you want it for future problems with the Xbox One app.

            I'm good. I ended up returning my other android box and bought the Xiaomi Mi Box and it works.

            FelipeF they did finally answer my support ticket 7 days after I put in my ticket, which is really unprofessional. But their response was completely different from what you said. Their response was that if the app downloaded from the app store and installed, it should work. Overall, dont matter anymore, I went with the Mi Box and got an eithernet to USB so I can have it wired in vs wireless.

              Sorry about the confusion but my statement is correct. The agent was not aware is this specific issue with Android devices. Glad you found a supported device, the MiBox is a pretty solid device overall.
