The PS4 Bluetooth remote is fully supported. We had a few issues supporting Logitech Harmony remotes as it emulates a BT keyboard and some of the button/key mappings are stupid (for example, play, pause, and select all send the same "enter" key), so a few of the more advanced features could not be mapped (like "hit play button on poster to play trailer").

The update also disables the trigger chapter skip - who makes a controller where the trigger buttons are also footrests, anyway!?
Rather than trying to do monolithic updates, please start releasing incremental updates. Supposedly you guys had this fix complete for PS4 remote months ago, yet it was only just submitted, apparently because you guys were trying to add support for other remotes?
I'm sure all of us would rather see at least one of our remotes added at a time, rather than none for 6+ months.

    Looking forward to the update...

Perhaps something wrong with your remote or your batteries. I'm using Amazon-brand Ni-MH 1.2V min.800mAh AAA, lasts months for me. Same with non-rechargeable.

Good point...they definitely will. If I have 2 streaming apps and my remote only works with one - guess which one I'll spend money renting from?

The longer it takes VUDU to get this squared away, the less likely folks will come back. Wonder how many first-timers they turned away because of a simple remote issue?

In April, 40 million PS4's had been sold. 40 MILLION. That's an incredible pond of fish to ignore from a sales standpoint. The suits...err smocks (this is Walmart, yeah?)...up top should have had developers working over night to solve this problem instead of seeing all the lost revenue they see on the daily.

I absolutely love VUDU, don't get me wrong...but this is mind-boggling.

Jaaaaaaake! It's been almost 2 month!

Every time I use the PS4 controller for VUDU I always accidentally hit a trigger and it goes to the next chapter. Such a pain. Grrrrrr!

I excitedly got the PS4 remote and found out that it works on everything but VUDU. So that sucks.

I've dumped a crapload of money into VUDU...don't let me down, Jake! Do you have a status on this??

    Thanks!

Any update on this? I've finally gotten rid of my PS3 in hopes that this will eventually work. Vudu appears to be the only app that doesn't work with the PS4 remote. If the slowness is due to limited platform usage, maybe you'll see a spike if you actually support the controller.

I have the same logitech hub. Realistically how long will this take? I'm like a vudu super user and i hate using the PS4 controller. the battery life sucks and i can put the thing in a safe and my kids will still find a way to hit the shoulder buttons during a movie.

as for roku on the Roku 2 the hard reset will generally fix the problem. At first i thought it was isolated to the one roku. now it has spread like a virus to the Roku boxes. the reset sometimes fixes it. if it does then it's only for one film or show. after that it stops working again. almost like a full cache. i will provide felipe the details of my vudu and roku firmware when i'm home.

Apologies with the delay on the PS4 remote support. Should have been released sooner, I am pushing to have it submitted to Sony ASAP. I have a Harmony with a PS4 at home and want it supported as well

As for Roku - Felipe may have already asked you, but did it go away (at least for a while) after you rebooted (needs hard power cycle, aka pull the plug)? If so, we think it's a Roku firmware bug (and we will escalate with them), since we have not updated the Roku app in a while and don't see why this would start happening recently.

    Yep, Plex works fine.
In the meantime, if I absolutely need to use VUDU, I'll use my phone to cast VUDU to Android TV or Chromecast, and then control playback with my remote (the PS4 remote even) due to both Android TV & Chromecast supporting HDMI CEC.
