Playstation 5 - Playback Issues

And I’m having the same issue also with my Xbox Series X. It doesn’t happen on my PS5, Roku device or if I stream directly through my smart TV app.
My setup:
Xbox Series X
Optical Fiber
900mbps download/upload
Ethernet connected
We have Disney +, Netflix, Apple TV+ and none of those services ever buffer like this. Not once.
By contrast, playing a movie through Vudu has become a chore. Because it was my go to app for watching content, I always start with them… and then about 8-10 minutes in the blue circles appear and I’m reminded: Oh right, this is broken.
And I see in the thread Vudu reps asking: which title did this happen with? Well, I’m here to say: every darn title I’ve tried to watch of late. I do not think this is about a single movie or TV show. It’s the service itself.
I emailed Vudu help and received… zilch. Even a “we’re aware of the issue and we’re looking into it” would go a long way.
I completely understand if a service isn’t perfect and needs to be refined. My phone gets regular updates. As does my PC. As does my console. Nothing is ever in a perfect state.
But where the new Vudu is falling short is in the customer service department. The lack of a response — seemingly to anyone affected by this issue — makes me think as others do above: what’s my exit strategy from this platform?
I’ve genuinely enjoyed Vudu. It remains my go to platform for digital movies and TV. But if this isn’t addressed soon — or even acknowledged — I’m switching to another platform.

I've been having this problem consistently for a few weeks now on my Xbox series X. We have 400mbps internet service (and are using wired connection - get a constant buffering error with movies both new and old via Vudu app - says that it recommends we stream SD version - which is ridiculous. Can play our titles HDX through other apps just fine, it is a Vudu issue specifically. Needs to be fixed, its totally unacceptable.

I'm having the same issues on Xbox. I tried new Ethernet wires. New HDMI cable. Nothing. It works on Chromecast and my computer same network. Wired it just starts buffering ten or twenty minutes. Doesn't matter what movie.

Greetings FelipeF and Jake, the Playstation 5 software was updated this morning, and the Vudu issue is still sadly continuing. I ran a test this morning on the movie Elf, and I encountered the loading issue between the 8-9 minute mark. I sent FelipeF a private message with my email address if you could please review the logs. As I mentioned earlier, this is the only device I'm experiencing Vudu issues on. Thanks.

When starting a HDX movie or tv show, it will stream perfectly for about 8-10 minutes. It will then pause and attempt to load, at which point it times out and says my internet connection is having trouble streaming HDX, and I have the option to Continue in HDX or Switch to SD. No matter which option I choose, it does not work. However, closing Vudu and re-opening makes the movie or tv show work great, but once again for only about 8-10 minutes.
No other Playstation 5 streaming app [Disney+, Netflix, Hulu] gives me issues.
Vudu works on my other devices using Wifi just fine, so its definitely not a network error on my side, as the Playstation 5 has the best connection in the home.
