        Came to say the same. Been using VUDU for a long long time, suddenly can't stream anything on the Xbox One app. I have tried other services and they work just fine on the Xbox. VUDU also works fine on my phone and Android TV.

        My theater runs off the Xbox so I use it for VUDU. Sadly if this isn't fixed, I'll just have to rent elsewhere, which bums me out.

          I?m experiencing the same issue on my XBox....The app stopped working on my Samsung smart TV months ago but I didn?t care too much because it still worked on my XBox....Now I?m unable to stream on my XBox as well....I just keep getting playback error or the App crashes all together.

            We released an app update about a month ago that resolved a known buffering bug. I've been steadily streaming on my Xbox One X since then and haven't had any issues. Make sure your Vudu app is updated to the latest version. If you haven't done so, power-cycle your network equipment if the issue still persists.

              First thing I did was check the app for updates and check all my network connections. It's not that, it's the app, as evidenced by the comments here.

                  I can stream in every single other app/service with zero problems, in 4k in some cases. It is not my network. It's really that simple. What would analyzing my network, that is perfectly capable, accomplish? (unless of course you are suggesting that I am for some reason lying about other services working fine. In that case, there is a whole other friction point going on here about solving the problem - one I can't help with.)

                      I?m having the same issue where a movie will not load, then the APP says to use SD, but the app appears to freeze as I can?t move the cursor, and I have to bring the Xbox to the home menu and close the APP.

                      If i start a movie from the beginning it seems to work if I immediately switch it to SD, but it?s impossible to resume a movie at all.
                      This problem was first noticed Yesterday. 3/19/18.
                      Ive hard booted the Xbox, and redownloaded the APP, same problem.

                        The app will not start a movie for me at all, after several moments it says to play it in SD but the APP freezes and I have to bring it to the dashboard and close the APP. Everything else works fine. So it?s the VUDU APP that is the issue.

                          Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue with our Xbox app. Can you please provide me with the following details, thanks.

                          XboxOne or Xbox360?
                          Xbox software/firmware version currently installed?
                          Vudu app version? (Within the app > Settings> System Info)

                            I noticed another update came through recently. I was able to watch two movies without it stopping! I did notice it switches between HDX and SD quite often, which doesn't seem to happen when I use other streaming services. Anyways, I'm happy it's at least working now!

                              Fast. Com speed test on the Xbox edge reports 780mbps... But can't stream movies on the Xbox One X anymore. Still super broken.

                                My Xbox One X has just recently (past month or so) started having issues with Vudu as well. Most movies give a "Video cannot be played" error after the movie has started. Most movies will eventually play except for the Poltergeist remake. It stops at the same point every single time, only a few minutes in. I'll grab the tech info when I get home.
