Thankfully the 400+ movies that aren?t MA eligible are mainly in HD.

I think whats even worse is the lack of General app updates to fix the known bugs I listed above. No updates since initial release in AUGUST!
The sad thing is, many of the issues are not "bugs", they should be treated as basic features for viewing a movie.

Basic features that Vudu does not implement:
    - Chapters or scenes.
    - Automatically starting the next episode.
    - Putting TV seasons into one bundle.
    - Keeping the choice of how one sorts their film/tv seasons.

I love Vudu on the Apple TV, but in some ways it feels not as advanced as when I had it on my blu ray player. Come on Vudu, you have a lovely new site, now make some improvements along the other platforms.

Latest tvOS beta 11.3b2 is causing issues with Vudu playback. Titles don?t start without pressing play again after starting. Also app doesn?t seem to remember where you left off. Always starts at the beginning.

Just reporting in case it?s a Vudu issue.

LMAO! It's sad to see EVERY OTHER APP on my ATV getting constantly updated with that little blue dot.....and yet the Vudu app just sits there, bugs and all with no love.

Well @vudusupport did tweet this back to someone today:
"There will be an iOS update soon. Stay tuned! We are looking at 4K support for Apple TV in the near future as well. Thanks!"

                Soon as in.....this year? Maybe?

At this point I wish Roku would have just come out with a DV player. Getting tired of the Apple walled garden and Vudu's lack of 4K deals.

VUDU said the same thing in 2017 about 4K and the Apple TV 4K. I don't believe them anymore.

Every day that goes by with no word from VUDU makes their silence harder and harder to explain.

I recently got an 4K Apple TV. I've always loved it, but ended up with a Roku TV so I sold my ATV last year, but with getting DTVN again, it runs faster so I am using the ATV more now. I got the Vudu app... and I was somewhat disappointed! First off, why on TV seasons, do you have to scroll right and left to each episode? On the Roku app and the website, are are listed in a row going down, much easier! Also, why are the seasons not compiled together in a "series" set like on Roku and the website? It makes it very cluttered.

Word on the web is now it'll be 2019 before VUDU gets their act together or the Apple 4K TV.

And still no UHD support. Took them 7 1/2 months for this?

I don?t think it?s a lack of ability or resources. I?d guess it has to do with not being able to transact on the ATV platform without paying Apple 30% which makes ATV a lower priority. But I think it?s a self fulfilling prophesy because it makes watching content on the ATV via iTunes or Amazon more appealing.
