    Thank you for your time.
Would love to have this feature. We've been re-watching Game of Thrones. and it's a real pain to keep your place. All of the episodes have been watched, and it doesn't take me to the next episode when I finish an episode on Watchlist.

@JefferyVUDU - concerning the new VUDU tvOS app update, could you please elaborate more than just, "V1.1.2 - bug-fixes to improve streaming performance."

I have an Apple TV 4k and maybe have the same issue you described about the video freezing up but the audio continuing, but it happened while streaming Netflix and iTunes content on my Apple TV 4k. It happens around the last 1-2 minutes of the end of a movie, usually during ending credits but never earlier in the movie. Sometimes it does not happen but most of the time during that time frame it does happen. Turning off Quick Start I found as a workaround to the issue for just iTunes content streaming but it will still happen with Netflix content as Quick Start is just for iTunes content. Quick Start setting workaround will not work with Vudu because it's an iTunes specific setting. I hardly used Vudu on my Apple TV, but maybe we both have the same issue with the video freeze/audio continue and maybe it's not Vudu related since I experienced it in Netflix and iTunes content? I never had an issue with picture breaking up on my Apple TV 4k but then I hardly ever used Vudu on it and so I'm not sure if that's Vudu specific issue or not. I've been tried a few other Apple TV 4k's and they experienced the same issue video freeze/audio continue as I'm having and I also tried different HDMI cables but that still did not resolve the issue. Does the Video freeze last for about 3 seconds while the audio is continuing and then the video resumes but ends up skipping many frames to catch up with the audio? Do you have this issue with other apps on your Apple TV 4k?

Sounds like you are having a different problem as I?ve not seen any problems with iTunes or Netflix content, just one specific Vudu UHD Dolby Vision video where the video freezes while the audio continues at certain specific points during playback and about 5 to 10 seconds later the video aborts with an error code about the video not being available.

Still waiting for Apple TV app to mirror Roku?s by cleaning up the tv series interface with series folders and auto play. Then I?d give it 5 stars

Me too! I get the feeling it's never coming....and I'm hoping they don't take it away on the Roku.

+1 on integrating search into the TV app. I?m not sure how that works on your side ? is it invite only or can anyone integrate. I would use the app much more if integrated.

The VUDU app on the ATV4k, tvOS is delivering elevated DolbyVision levels to the Sony Z9F. Both iTunes on the ATV and the android VUDU app on the TV itself are fine. The Sony uses DV profile 5.

Also, the Android VUDU app on the Sony pauses any video stream when you try to edit a picture mode. For instance, when streaming a DV title, if you try to edit any tv setting by going to picture mode, the display switches to SDR in a paused state and this makes it impossible to make any changes to picture settings in DolbyVision mode (or whatever mode other than SDR that the title was mastered in).

Audio out of sync when watching "free" TV shows or movies.

The audio from the actual show keeps playing behind the commercial break. Then of course when back to the show the audio is way out of sync. When I close the show and go back to the VUDU menu, not all the way back to Apple TV's home page, still in VUDU, the audio from the show is STILL playing.

I've updated the FW for the Apple TV 4K to the newest release, 12.1, but the symptom remains. I've turned off, on, etc., every audio option including disabling Atmos, frame rate matching, etc. Obviously nothing fixes it.

Does not do this if using my ROKU or VUDU on my Sony X800.

Whatever is supposed to be telling the stream to STOP, there's a commercial break, is not telling the audio, just the video feed. Hard to imagine this is an Apple TV problem. Its just receiving what's being sent. Seems to be a sending problem which means its a VUDU thing.

Others reporting same thing on AVS Forum. I heard back from VUDU support. I have to explain the issue so many times it gets annoying. But others are having this problem. Seems to me it?s something in the VUDU app/formatting of the source file.

I heard back from VUDU support via a couple of email exchanges.

Vudu, Please tell us which titles are doing this?

Me, All of them that are free TV shows or movies that are long enough for a commercial break.

Vudu support, We can not help you if you do not provide us accurate trouble shooting information.

Me, Huh? What did I not tell you?

                              Unbelievable.

                              Waiting for their reply now.

Are you using a AV receiver or is the AppleTV connected straight to your TV? Can you also provide me with your case # with customer care, thanks.
