    I finally figured out that my 2015 Sony XBR-75X850C is not compatible with the new 4K VUDU version. Is there any chance this would eventually work with my TV or should I just uninstall VUDU? I was really wanting to watch the latest 4K movies and VUDU had the best opitons.

        I also have a 2015 model and I was hoping I would be able to watch new 4K movies using VUDU. But after working on this for a few days I found out my Sony is not an approved model. This was my only reason to join VUDU. I guess I will keep looking.

          I have the same Sony Model, and the 4K Beta was working fine but lately I've been getting Buffering. I switched to the regular Vudu App and it worked fine for HDX Movies. Has anyone else had any problems with this Beta App? Could it be not enough access?

                Hi again, I take it back. The app is still freezing on me. I just watched a movie and it froze twice. It's not a constant thing, but I'd still like a solution. I'll probably call tech support, because I'm not expecting a response here.

                      Hey guys can confirm vudu has finally fixed the app for Nvidia shield android tv..months of agony and now ive finished watching thor ragnarok hdr with atmos and not a single bufferalso have put it on my sony bravia 2015 4k (sideloaded) and works perfectly as well..i think it was yesterday i noticed the updated app...thank you vudu

                          So it looks like Vudu has removed compatibility from the 2015 model year Sony 4k Android TV lineup, as it used to work/install/receive updates.

                          Any reason why it was removed? I quickly scanned and didn't see a Vudu/official reply

                            So I saw news today that Vudu had updated its app to support Sony TVs for UHD playback. However, the app has not updated on my TV nor is it available on the list within the Google Play Store. How can I get the new app so I can finally enjoy UHD movies? I have a 2016 Sony 930D.

                              I was able to load the beta app on my 930E and log in successfully when it first came out. After the app was updated however it states my password does not meet the requirements though the basic app login works fine.

                                I have the latest Sony software update for my A1E which deleted the other older vudu app and the latest update for this android app and it still kicks into screensaver mode at times....I was just watching Gotti HDX and it went into chromecast screensaver mode 6 minutes into watching the movie....Maybe the app didn't like the movie,lol but this should of been fixed by now....I have no buffering issues just the darn screensaver kick in....
