I removed the sideloaded version and installed the Google Play version and have the following comments on this version on my X930e (Sony 2017 TV).

I mentioned in the other thread that Dolby Vision wasn?t working on Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (GotG2), so the video was playing SDR. That?s only partially correct. Not only is it SDR, but I think it may be playing the HDX stream despite showing UHD. The reason I think so is that the bandwidth used on my router when playing Gotg2 in ?UHD? was the same as when playing other HDX movies.

I then played The Last Jedi and Thor Ragnarok and both used more bandwidth and they played in Dolby Vision, so basically I believe some UHD videos aren?t even playing in UHD. I?m not sure what the difference is other than GotG2 is Dolby Vision only (and the oldest HDR video I have).

On a side note, playing UHD titles on my Roku Premiere+ uses significantly more initial bandwidth than the same UHD titles on the Sony TV, so it appears that the TV either buffers much more on the Roku or it has a higher quality stream. Gotg2 on Roku appears to actually play in 4K based on the higher bandwidth, though I?m not 100% sure.

Installed on my 930e. The picture is a little dark. But other than that so far it?s great. Picture other than the darkness looks fantastic, sound is awesome! Thank you guys for releasing this. I will keep you posted if any other issues come up.

Yeah, that's the way the Watchlist worked with the old SHIELD version of the Vudu app. Problem is that it's not doing that now that the official Android TV app has replaced it, which is why I'm wondering if it's a bug or simply that the feature is not yet completed.

Your playlist suggestion is good. I'll second that!
Same with the Roku Vudu app vs. the Apple TV Vudu app. The Roku app will autoplay the next episode in a TV series. It gives you an option to press watch, or in 10 seconds it will autoplay. If you don't start the next episode....it will still add it to the watchlist and remove the one just watched. We love that feature on the Roku and I'm guessing Vudu has decided to not implement it on their newer apps for ATV and Android.

Installed on my 930E. So far it's a nice update.

I will echo what Morac mentioned in the other thread......DV doesn't always get triggered.

This will address many bugs and we'll be targeting the next few releases to also include some of the missing features.

Note with this update, you may see a second, newly-created device in your Devices record (with the brand of your device). Keep that one and you can remove the initial one.
Any chance you could elaborate on the "missing features"? JeffreyVUDU

    Any advice?
Same issues here. Sent a note to Vudu-received form letter back to try all the things I have already tried and that I listed in the note I sent them. (which they did not read)

Is development still going on for the AndroidTV version of Vudu? There hasn't been a release since last November.
