    So little help

I have a 12 Mbs DSL connection that tests between 10 and 11.5 Mbs on all of the broadband speed-test sites yet I cannot use Vudu.

Its speed test suggests that I use SD. I do that, and it STILL buffers constantly.

I connect through a Vudu-enabled LG BR player, and I've connected it directly to my residential gateway via ethernet to no avail.

I therefore decided to look at the forum here. In all of my 16 years of Internet experience, I've never encountered a forum full of posts that tells me nothing and gives no suggestions in the site's FAQ, either

I know that my connections and devices are OK because Netflix streams in HD flawlessly at all times.

Instead of troubleshooting Vudu, therefore, I'm going to forget about it for a while. There's obviously something very wrong with Vudu's streaming technology compared to all other services. So WHY IN THE WORLD would anyone pay these prices, $3.99 for one day, for a SD movie, not even as good in quality as a standard DVD.

Get your act and prices in line with the competition, Vudu, and I'll be back. As now presented, however, your service is ridiculously overpriced for what's offered. Running out of venture capital pretty fast, are you?

    Milleron,

You can run a speed test from speedtest.vudu.com to get your speed from VUDU. This is a longer download, so it may take a few minutes. If you feel you're not getting the speeds that you should, give us a call at (888) 554- VUDU and we can try and find a solution for you.

I connect using my PS3 and AT&T Uverse running at 12Mbps. The speed test shows me at 9Mbps or more almost entirely through the duration of the test. When trying to stream an HD movie though, it's just buffering constantly.

I too use Netflix in HD without fail. What is the deal!?!?

Vic, send me a PM with your email address. I can look at the streaming sessions you have had and see if they indicate any issues.
