    Curl Code 0

Grr........My Samsung BD-D5300 is NOT allowing VUDU and is posting Invalid SAMBBD01BD-D5300 Curl code 0/ I contacted samsung who stated, "Sir,we are so sorry for the inconvience, but we currently have No Fix for this one... LOL...they always say it that way! You may have to get a newer model..For cryin -out loud!.. I just purchased this in April ,2011 Samsung and VUDU say it's a hardware Glitch..and they are working on a fix. AND They keep posting updates, when I apply the update, it totally defaults my BD D5300 device and I lose all of my apps and have to start all over again..So far it happened FIVE_5 times yesterday October, 08,2011 Iz there going to be a resolution to this or is the Redundancy going to continue? It worked fine last time I used VUDU back in July & August! The trouble started, After their last update that gave me a Virtual Keyboard!
Am I alone on this? I haven't seen a thing about it in the Forum...But then again, I'm a *Newby*

What is the model number for your device. Also, what firmware version is your device currently running?

I'm also having the same issue...

            Samsung BD-D6500 shows,

            "Current Version 2011/12/16_001020" software

            "Model Code: BD-D6500-ZA"
            "Software Version: BSP-D6500ZA-1020.5"
Serial no. on back is "ZB7F6V1B200338H"

When trying to connect with VUDU it shows:

            "Failed to connect to network"

            "Details: Curl Code 0"

            "More Info: Hardware ID: SAMBBD01BD-6500........00239981513D8316DF6A"
            "DEVICE ID: 0xe52cf8"

Although the player connects with Netflix and Hulu fine...

            Thanks for any help!

-Check to see if there is a network firmware update available.

-If there is no update available, trying opening ports in your router 13200-13299. If you have any questions about doing this, please give us a call at (888)554-VUDU.

                No network updates available...

                Ports opened...

                Still the exact same error.

Any other ideas? I'd love to give Vudu my money.

Does your router allow you to place certain IP address' in DMZ? This would place the BDP outside your network firewall.

                    Thanks Dan!
I do have the ability to add it to the DMZ, and that looks like it did it!
Thanks again for your invaluable support... I'm off to go spend some money!

                        Hi,

I am having the same issue with my Vudu as well. It was working fine and then two things happened. I went to cable internet and Samsung did an update. I am having no problems getting to anything else through my network on my player. Netflix and Hulu work just fine.

                        My model is BD-D5700

                          Re: Curl Code 0

I've seen a lot of posts on this and mostly questions with no answers. I was in the middle of watching a movie on 3/1/13 and supposedly lost connection. Although when I checked, the connection seemed to be just fine.

I had to shut down my Samsung BluRay player and power it back up, and when I did, I keep getting this Curl Code: 0 prompt. So I'm on this forum trying to find answers to what's going on and seeing nothing that seems to address this issue. Maybe I'm missing something tho.

Can anyone help? Seems odd that everything was working fine one minute and then the next, I can't even connect to vudu via my BluRay.

                            Hi Gary,

How is your BDP connected to your network? Are you still getting connection errors? Have you opened any ports on your router as of yet?

                              Hi,
im having the same problems. I opened the ports and added the IP to the DMZ. It?s been doing this since we switch to XFinity and it?s getting really annoying that we don?t have access to any of our movies.
