Flixster said Unlink Re-link to UV account Re-Link not working!

I have over 71 titles so far, mostly Walmart D2D, and 10 titles disappeared from Flixster over the last month. I contacted support and they told me to Unlink my UV account in Flixster then re-link them. I just keep getting a message that says "Sorry were having some technical difficulties" and obviously all of my movies are gone from Flixster. This has been going on for three days and support just says they are working on it. Is everyone having this problem or is it just me? I was just about to take 10 more titles to Walmart to convert now I'm not sure I want to.

I have this issue also. I'm fairly new to UV, Flixster and VUDU. My VUDU account shows all my UV movies with no issues, but flixster only showed partial, so I attempted to unlink/relink also and get the same kind of error. According to my UV account it says its linked, but when I visit flixster to check, its always just trying to grab the movies from UV. I'm assuming there site is broken.... I opened a support ticket but I'm sure its just an issue with their code...

Also, know that not all UV titles available through Vudu are accessible through Flixster, only recently did WB and Paramount reach an agreement allowing Paramount movies to show up in Flixster (I think I still have 3 unavailable).

Re: Flixster said Unlink Re-link to UV account Re-Link not working!

In my case I had only 3 movies showing out of a possible list of 111 films... That to me seems like there is clearly something wrong with there site, and as of now I don't think any are showing due to unlinking/relinking..

Forget about Flixster! Why do we need them when all my movies are on Vudu. I see no need to even go to the Flixster's website anymore. What for? Redeem a movie if you need too on Flixster - If it shows in Vudu then no need to log back into flixster.

Re: Flixster said Unlink Re-link to UV account Re-Link not working!

Kev, The whole point, for me, of D2D and building my cloud library was to have the ability to stream and download to my Android devices. Flixster is, (was), the only program that would do that. I love Vudu on my HD TV but in reality I still have all the Blu Rays and will definitely use them to watch at home. So this recent MESS with Flixster has really ticked me off! I really wish I hadn't listened to their support people who told me to Unlink Re-Link from my UV account.

I got a response from Flixster support today saying "other users are reporting the same problem". I appreciate the responses from the other users yesterday telling me that they too had problems. It at least let me know it's not something with my account at either Flixster or UV but a system wide Flixster issue.

Don't unlink your flixster account, in hopes more titles will become available, at least not now! Or you will probably be stuck like me wishing I hadn't and missing the movies on my tablet! I am definitely NOT taking anymore movies to Walmart to convert D2D until this gets fixed........

My Flixster has not fully loaded since Oct 03. I keep getting this message that never ever completes Checking:

"108 movies * Checking UltraViolet for new titles? "

Re: Flixster said Unlink Re-link to UV account Re-Link not working!

Well, I'm having a similar problem, but backwards. I redeemed the free movies through Flixster and they show up fine on my Ultraviolet account, but they don't show up in my Vudu account. And no one seems to be willing to correct the issue. Everyone keeps saying its an ALID code thing. But that can't be true because I had a friend get the same two movies for free and they show up in his Vudu and Ultraviolet account with no issues.

Flixster, Vudu and Ultraviolet. They need to get their act together if they expect us to share all this content. I'm tired of playing these runaround games.

I just want access to my movies!!

Re: Flixster said Unlink Re-link to UV account Re-Link not working!

Excellent news! As of five minutes ago my whole collection is back on Flixster. Still showing some movies unavailable to stream, (5), but that is 5 better than before this whole mess started. I just logged out of my Flixster account on my Android Razr Maxx and logged back in again. I did the same on my tablet. So my total movie count is now correct.

Many thanks to all of the forum members who responded it really helped with the frustration knowing I wasn't the only one with problems.

If logging in and out of Flixster doesn't fix the issue for anyone else I did take some other steps last night. I have the desktop Flixster application loaded on my laptop and I realized that my login was different from my Ultraviolet login by a single character in my password. So I reset my Flixster password to match my UV password. I really don't think this was causing a problem but I wanted to mention it in case other members continue to have problems. So all total it took 5 days for Flixster to fix this from the date of my support case.

I hope it will be working now for everyone else!

My issues are resolved. Support told me to unlink/relink also but it hadn't worked successfully till today. Now my whole collection is showing in Flixster.

I also redeemed 3 Movies/shows today. Hangover Part 2 & Big Bang Theory Season 5 in flixster and there showing in my Vudu account with no issues as HDX titles! I also redeemed Jack and Jill but at Sony's site with no issues and its also showing in Vudu as an HDX title!

It's great when things work the way there supposed too! Hopefully it will stay that way!

Most likely, they have addressed the issue, but you still have the old ALID for the movies. If you contact them, they should be able to help you out.

It appears my account has finally been fixed. All my movies finally loaded and all the duplicates I had listed in the Unavailable section have been removed.

My Flixster will not unlink from my UV account therefore i cannot relink UV to Flixster. When i try to link my Flixster account with UV it says et.flixster.uv.FlixsterUserAlreadyLinkedException: 53335341-aa00-4280-9521-1530dc51bb67 null

OMG I am having the same issue. Mine wouldn't update with stuff and my Watchmen Ultimate will only play through flixster so I unlinked and relinked to update and now stuck at 0.
Been about 3 days with no response from flixster support but I get that technical difficulties message anytime I redeem a code or link my UV.
I used to be able to short term fix it by deleting flixster from uvvu.com but they changed the site and no longer let you remove it from there.

Well it worked a bit. Got stuck in a loop on chrome where it kept asking me to link my UV account. I tried IE and it linked but gave me technical difficulties. I got some of my movies but it is stuck on checking again. Kept getting stuck at 110 then eventually it went to 135. Unlinked again and was back down at 110.

Started having that technical error again but kept disconnecting and readding I got it up to 149 which is about 20 off what I own.

Been arguing with flixster support for first 24 hours. I don't think they get that I own the freaking movies in my UV account but any of my new releases refuse to show on their site. Probably out sourced and can't read my emails properly or just don't care about fixing the fact most my movies plus no new ones show in flixster. I freaking hate flixster. I called vudu today and got excellent support. If UV was only for flixster I'd never use it.
