    Sorry to report I'm not using wireless. I've always used a wired connection and still have the problem.

      In our lab we could only reproduce it with wireless connection. Can you please confirm the network status on the BD?

      FYI, the LG BD does not automatically switch to wired even it has physically connection into the BD. The switch has to be done manually.

          I'm continuing to have a "boots me off problem. I responded to the "tech" that emailed me and here are the questions I was asked and the answers I provided.



          1. Run a speed test on our web site. This is a longer, sustained speed test. Running a longer test will give us a good indication of how well the network performs over a longer period of time. The URL is http://speedtest.vudu.com/cdn1/.

          The URL above shows forbidden when I try to go to it.

          2. City and state

          Newport News Virginia

          3. Broadband Provider/Type of Connection

          Cox, cable. I have the upper tier access.

          4. Movie title & SD, HD, or HDx?

          The entire interface closes. The application begins, the interface loads, the two adverts appear at the left side of the screen and then the interface closes, returning me to the main selection screen.

          5. The make and model number of your modem

          Irrelevant, but Cisco DPC3010

          Netflix works just fine and I have greater than 12 MBps download speed.

          6. The make and Model of your Router

          Again, irrelevant as everything except vudu works just fine.

          7. Is your VUDU device hard wired or wireless? If wireless, which wireless adapter are you using? How far is the device from the router and are there any appliances, walls, ceilings or other obstructions in the way of the line of sight between the two?

          Wired. I have full access to both Netflix, Pandora, and youtube. I am able to stream HD video.

          8. What kind of Device are you using? (TV, Bluray, PC, PS3, etc)

          Bluray. LG BP620. It has the most recent updates from LG applied.

            Right afterward I noticed this issue. The vudu screen loads and then closes. No error message; nothing.

            Netflix, pandora, and youtube continue to work just fine. I have ample download bandwidth, greater than 12 MBps continuous by DSLreports speed test.

              I just provided a temporary fix to your LG BD. Please check and let me know the result.

              If anyone else still has LG BD issue, please private message/email me your email address if the Wired connection is not a solution for you, or you already have wired connection and it still crashes.
