Playing Movie from Vudu.com on iPhone 5

I'm trying to play one of my movies from Vudu's website using my Safari browser on my iPhone 5. After about 10 or 15 minutes, the movie starts over from the beginning. This has happened 3 times. I bought Apple's Lightening to HDMI converter, and have it hooked up to the TV. Has anyone ever heard of this issue?

I have the Vudu app installed, but I cannot use it. The hotel I'm staying at has blocked streaming from Vudu. I'm sure they'd much rather I pay them to watch a movie, instead of watching a movie without paying them.

Bandwidth doesn't seem to be an issue, as I tested upwards of 40 meg on the LTE network that they have here. It's not buffering. It's simply starting over from 0:00. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Is the movie able to play straight through without using the converter?

I didn't have the patience (or even the desire) to watch the movie directly on the iPhone. I had the same thought, but I'm not going to watch a movie on my phone if the converter is the problem.

Last night I was able to watch a different movie, same method, for about an hour without the movie restarting. (Then I shut it off myself.) Maybe it was a strange anomoly that it happened the previous night.

I can't say that it's related or that I've tested it at length but I can say when I have private browsing on, cookies off, etc that I have problems with Vudu. When I switch all back to allow everything it works fine on my iPhone 5.

I assume the default setting is Private browsing off and cookies on, etc. I didn't know you could disable cookies on an iPhone. I've never adjusted any settings like that.

              Correct
              Settings >>> Safari

You'll see Private Browsing, Accept Cookies, Clear History, Clear Cookies & Data, etc.

"Seemed" to help with "my" situation.

I'm watching Back to the Future 2, which is the movie that kept starting over. I'm hooked up with the HDMI adapter. I am on the hotel's WiFi, since they don't block Vudu like the last hotel did. The movie has not started over like it did before. I changed no settings on my iPhone. Definitely a curious situation.
