Vudu Forum Guidelines

The Vudu Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Vudu experience. Here, Vudu customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Vudu and Vudu -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Vudu customers with questions and/or problems with their Vudu service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Vudu Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Please post all comments in English. When posting a comment in the Vudu Forums, please conduct yourself in a respectful and civil manner. While we respect that you may feel strongly about an issue, please leave room for discussion.

Vudu reserves the right to refrain from posting and/or to remove user comments, including comments that contain any of the following:

1. Obscenities, defamatory language, discriminatory language, or other language not suitable for a public forum
2. Email addresses, phone numbers, links to websites, physical addresses or other forms of contact information
3. "Spam" content, references to other products, advertisements, or other offers
4. Spiteful or inflammatory comments about other users or their comments
5. Comments that may potentially violate the DMCA or any other applicable laws
6. Comments that discuss ways to manipulate Vudu products/services, including, but not limited to, reverse engineering, video extraction, and file conversion.

Additionally, please keep in mind that although Vudu retains the right to monitor, edit, and/or remove posts within Vudu Forums, it does not necessarily review every comment. Accordingly, specific questions about Vudu products and services should be directed to Vudu customer service representatives.

Terms of Use - User Comments, Feedback, Reviews, Submissions

For all reviews, comments, feedback, postcards, suggestions, ideas, and other submissions disclosed, submitted or offered to Vudu, on or through this Site, by e-mail or telephone, or otherwise disclosed, submitted or offered in connection you use of this Site (collectively, the "Comments") you grant Vudu a royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable right and license to use the Comments however Vudu desires, including, without limitation, to copy, modify, delete in its entirety, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from and/or sell and /or distribute such Comments and/or incorporate such Comments into any form, medium or technology throughout the world.

password reset email trouble

    It seems like it has been awhile since anyone has this issue, but it seems it found me as well. I am unable to receive an email when clicking the forgot password button. I have contacted support via email and I am able to receive those. They were unable to help. So I called the number and even sending the email to two different email addresses they didn't receive anything. I don't believe it is my internet provider or my email addresses. I have used Sprint, comcast, and AT&T. I with Yahoo, gmail, and hotmail addresses. Any assistance in recovering my account short of guessing my password would be great.

      So I have now also have this issue i have tried to have a reset password sent 3 times in 2 days and havent received a email

        I also am having the same problem for years and have a ton of movies on my account.. Please help me I just recently hooked up a blu ray player and I have a lot of movies on there.. Fortunately I can still watch on that player because the password is still stored in the device.. But I would like to use the app on other devices..

          I started having this same issue when Fandango bought VUDU. I have a Hotmail address tied to the account. I used my Walmart account to get in. When I tried to convert, it said it sent me an email. No luck on inbox or junk folder. Tried to reset my Vudu account password, while the password reset process says it has sent an email, it does not show up in my inbox or junk. Got a call at 1130pm from a tech person. The best they could do was to send me an email to reset my password...never came in. So I have lost access to all my Vudu purchases. Not good...

            Does anyone from Vudu ever respond or monitor these forums? I created a new topic as I am not receiving any emails to convert my Walmart account, but the topic has been awaiting Moderator approval for almost a week. I have been emailing and calling support for two weeks, but I'm constantly told the conversion issue has been escalated, but the dept that handles it is closed so I cannot talk to them, just wait for email follow up that never comes.

              I have had issue with not getting the email to verify by account when I do the Walmart to Vudu account conversion. This has been going on for three months now. Many email and phone calls with VUDU support. No one has been able to fix the problem. The most recent email from Vudu shown below! WHAT A POOR JOB OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT! I have been member for 5+ year, have about 60 movies and now locked out of my account. I am beyond frustrated! I guess the forums are just for venting as problems are never actually solved! Another unsatisfied customer!

                  Same issue. Not getting a password reset email to my Gmail. Also, my password was saved in a password manager so there's no way it is wrong. Anyway, without getting a reset email I can't create a new password. How can I get help?
