Vudu Forum Guidelines

The Vudu Forums are designed to help viewers get the most out of their Vudu experience. Here, Vudu customers may post information, questions, ideas, etc. on the subject of Vudu and Vudu -related issues (home theater, entertainment, etc). Although the primary purpose of these forums is to help Vudu customers with questions and/or problems with their Vudu service, there are also off-topic areas available within the Vudu Forums for users to chat with like-minded people, subject to the limitations below.

Please post all comments in English. When posting a comment in the Vudu Forums, please conduct yourself in a respectful and civil manner. While we respect that you may feel strongly about an issue, please leave room for discussion.

Vudu reserves the right to refrain from posting and/or to remove user comments, including comments that contain any of the following:

1. Obscenities, defamatory language, discriminatory language, or other language not suitable for a public forum
2. Email addresses, phone numbers, links to websites, physical addresses or other forms of contact information
3. "Spam" content, references to other products, advertisements, or other offers

    Need help linking?

    What am I doing wrong, I registered my 2 brothers one was fine registering but when linking the other a notification pops up and says

    "You can only create two links to a streaming service that stays connected to devices such as a cable box, game console, smart TV, or connected Blu-ray player. To proceed, unlink one of your current links to this streaming service (from your Member Details page at uvvu.com) or check with the service for other options"

    What does this mean? I thought 6 people were allowed to link. How can I correct this where they both can access my uvvu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You have to unlink a service. They have REALLY improved the linking section of the UV website. Once you login, go to the members detail page, for the one you want to unlink, and then click on the linked service link and then click on the unlink link on the following page.

      So that message still pops up I went to the linked services and it had Vudu, Cinema Now, Flixter, and Sony pictures, I unlinked all but Vudu, I don't know why I would have to unlink companies, understandable if it were actual members linked to uvvu not companies.

      Forgive me, I am a dope with this stuff, just thought it would be easier to link family members.

      So when tried to relink my brother, after unlinking those companies that same message comes up. There's gotta be something else wrong cause I did the followed instructions.......or at least I think I did..... HELP

        Go to your UV account and go to the member list. Click on the member having a problem. list links and unlink fro VUDU and save. Then they should be able to re-link.

          I'm having the same exact issue. Everything was fine until a few days ago when I un-linked my account because of movies not showing up. When trying to re-link I get that same message. My account stays linked for about half a day and then I have to re-link it again...over and over. I have 2 other family members on my UVVU account, both linked to separate Vudu accounts. I have gone to the UVVU site and deleted the link to Vudu in MY profile, but it hasn't helped.

            You can only have 2 VUDU accounts linked to a UV account.
