I have a Samsung BD-C5500 blu-ray player that the Vudu app stopped working.

    Hello JBuck22,

    Sorry for the delay. Please take a look at this previous thread in regards to your issue. This seemed to be a common issue in the past with that particular model.

    Make sure the USB key is wiped clean, there can't be any information on it.
    -Your blu ray player should have a USB port on the front right of the player, there may be a little door you'll have to open.
    -Plug in the USB key while the device is powered down.
    -Power the device up and go into the menu
    -Go to System and then Data management(this text might differ slightly).
    -Select the USB key to host your memory.

    The current version is BSP-C5500WWB-1027.0 and the player has been power cycled several times.

    Can you check to see if there is a firmware update for the device itself? If there is, download and install it and let me know if you continue to have problems.

  • I have a Samsung BD-C5500 blu-ray player that the Vudu app stopped working.

    Apparently about a week or so ago the Vudu app was updated on my blu ray player. Since then the app will load but just sits there saying (Connecting...) at the splash screen. All other apps work fine (Netflix, Hulu, etc.). Is there a fix for this so that I can get back to watching movies? Any help would be appreciated...thanks.
