New D2D titles not showing up

I took two movies to Walmart this morning to convert to digital and they are still not showing up. I entered a case but I wanted to see if anyone was on the forum that could help. If so, my case number is #130414-000333.

This tends to happen when your "checkout" process is in "PENDING" mode, waiting to be "COMPLETED".

Were they able to use the barcode that was printed out of the machine? Or did they make a "fake" new one? Because if they don't use the barcode that is generated by the computer (at the end of the transactions), your movies will go to Limbo (like they seem to have done).

The only way around this really is to call VUDU (Via their Contact Us page) and take a picture of the receipt. Once on the phone, ask them to open up a case for you about your missing movies and once the case is open, you will supply them with the receipt. If you then go to Your Cases (while still on the phone), you will be able to add the picture and allow them to fix the problem in real time.

My Walmart prints out the barcode... the wrong way out of the printer... so instead of fitting on the label nice and neat... it's half cut off. Because they can't read the barcode, I tell them to write it down before X'ing out of it because the 30 seconds it takes them to save the barcode... yeah, it saves me from doing the aforementioned steps above =X.

    I hope this helps!

VUDU's response (which they have told me plenty of times): You know you can D2D at home now?
Me: Yup, but I don't like my CC information online. Might take a little longer to get them on VUDU, but I am able to get receipts, and it's not really out of my way for the trip =D

    **edit**
Because you have a case already, upload the receipt to it and then call VUDU. Tell them : "The two movies I purchased from D2D are not in my locker and are somewhere in limbo. I provided a receipt in the case ****blah blah****."

It will take them a couple minutes to look at things, and poof, done =D

Re: New D2D titles not showing up

It's coming up on 24 hours since we purchased our D2D titles at Walmart, and several hours since we entered a case on Vudu, and we're still not able to watch our movies.

This has happened to me once before several months back. Walmart appeared to do everything right (I always have to sort of guide them through the process, even telling them where their notebook is kept). He did scan the barcode.

I have entered a case with my order number and movie IDs and I have attached a scanned image of my receipt. That is what I did last time.

That is not a response to the PROBLEM. I can think of other reasons why someone might not be able to do D2D using VUDU To Go, but my reason was that I was converting several movies Friday and yesterday and these two would not convert using VUDU To Go. So technically I had two problems yesterday.

Did you add the titles to your list and take in the list, or have them add them at the store? If the former, I've got nothing, exept the possibility they never hit the 'proceed' button to finalize the transaction. If it is the later, they could easily have botched your email address and/or phone number. My email addy is too easy to mess up, so I only give them my phone number and always pre-add the movies I will be converting, even if I don't bring in the list (sometimes I hit the pawn shop and go straight to WM to digitize).

I took my list in as I always do. My D2D list on the website is now empty, which it normally is after Walmart completes the sale. The only thing is that I don't have access to my movies. This happened to me once before several months ago and VUDU was able to fix it fairly quickly; however, this time it seems that VUDU is on vacation and doesn't want to fix problems.

Does anyone know an 800 phone number for VUDU?

Yeah!!! VUDU was able to complete the Walmart transaction with a copy of my receipt.

                ALWAYS KEEP YOUR RECEIPT...
