Vudu will no longer work on any of my Samsung TV's or Samsung Bluray player

    Vudu will no longer work on any of my Samsung TV's or Samsung Bluray player

    In the last few days Vudu has stopped working on all of my Samsung TV's and my Samsung BluRay player. Error indicated no internet access but TV's and other APs like Netflix are accessing the internet fine. Vudu help line is no help at all. I've reset and updated the devices to the latest firmware. I've even deleted and reloaded the VUDU ap. No help.

    Anyone else having this problem. Internet is working fine.

    Did they start a case up for you when you called in to support? I'd like to take a look at your incident.

      I just want to second that thru email support, service its not great! Honestly, I've spent too much time on this.. If Vudu doesn't want my $$$ then I'll just rent thru Amazon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fix it!!

      Email Support says:

Recently our engineering department updated our systems framework, and as a result of this update, access to our service via proxy servers will no longer be available. This includes hosting companies and anonymous proxies. We understand that VPN/Proxy servers may have worked in the past, but they have never been officially supported by VUDU. We are aware that this update will affect some of our customers, and apologize for the inconvenience. Again, we thank you for your understanding and cooperation! If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us to the number below.

      I don't understand. I don't have an anonymous proxy and what do you mean by hosting companies? I have internet service provided thru Direct TV running into my Samsung TV and using Vudu thru Samsung Smart Hub. Your app is available thru Samsung Smart Hub App center.

        I have the same issue ...it freezes on the loading . I have spent an hour on the phone with Vudu resetting my Blueray and it will not work. Is Vudu not working on the Samsung Smarthub anymore?

          My LG blu-ray stopped working with same codes. I'm on Verizon FiOS in Virginia and have no knowledge of a proxy anywhere on the line. Vudu works fine with iMac. Vudo CS says same story. I'm on a proxy.

          Weird thing is I linked using neighbor's Comcast account and LG connected OK. I'm guessing is they must have gotten a lot of flak from the content providers about outside USA people using proxies to tunnel through. So in response they installed some sort of hyperactive proxy detector. Best I can figure.

            I am having the same problem with a new Samsung TV I just purchased. All other apps (Netflix, etc.) work fine. VUDU, we need and answer.

              If you want to look at mine it is 130511-000698. It's now been referred to engineering. So exciting.
