Mr. & Mrs. Smith SD audio/videpo sync

When watching Mr. & Mrs. Smith through the vudu app on my Sharp Aquos TV and through my blu-ray player, the sound is about 2 seconds behind the video. For an action movie with lots of gunfire and explosions, it is very annoying to try to watch with them not properly synced. I was going to try to watch it on my computer, but, apparently it won't let me stream it to my pc, no play button, just a Rent/Buy button.

    A few questions:

    1) was this the unrated or theatrical version?
    2) did you rent or buy it? (and if you rented are you sure it was still in the rental window when you tried on the PC?)
    3) are you sure you were logged in to your account on the PC when it said rent/own?

Actually - I just looked and I'm going to guess here... did you get this movie via DVD D2D? It looks like the unrated version has all 3 qualities (and I checked the A/V sync is ok) but the theatrical version only has HD/HDX (which has good A/V sync too). They may have pulled the theatrical SD version for bad sync but for some reason it still allowed D2D.

If that's not the case let me know (actually either way let me know) I'll check what's up with the theatrical SD version tomorrow to see what the plan to fix it is (and try to verify that it is bad...)

      1) It is the Theatrical version
      2) It is owned, using D2D from the dvd.
      3) I am logged in to my account. I tried to download it to my computer, but got an error stating that I own it, but it isn't available for download t this time. When I try to stream it, it shows the check mark next to the sd version as owning it.

It looks like what I thought - the SD stream is bad, and needs to be re-encoded. I'm not sure when that will be done, so if you don't want to wait for it you may want to see if you can get upgraded to HDX, switched to the unrated version instead, or just get a refund... (sorry, can't help you with any of those directly, though, you'll need to submit an issue with customer care).
