    Advanced Price Search

    I would love (and imagine other people would) if there was a way to search for a certain price to own a movie e.g. I have 4.99 credit on here and I'd be able to search for any movie that i could own for 4.99 that is HD quality or less, would probably help out a lot of people finding a movie to buy when they got credit from a preorder or wherever they received that credit

    Personally, I just save the credit until the next time I'd buy/rent anyway. But I'd still love to see them add the ability to sort via price for a different reason, which is the same reason I spend hours digging through discount bins of videos and books: I love a bargain.

      I don't think it make's sense. You're going to potentially get thousands of results and unless you also have the ability to add filters to further narrow down the list and / or add second and third level sorts it's just going to be a mess of artwork.

      The best thing for that would still be dumping the title list with attributes into Excel and then doing whatever you want with it. Problem is it's not very user friendly, especially for someone that doesn't know how to use a spreadsheet or doesn't have Excel (or free equivalent).

      It's something nice to add to the list of nice want's on our list from Vudu. However, given limited limited resources and other want's that would be of more use to a larger group of people I put this lower on the development list. Especially if we can just scape the database and just to an Excel file ourselves then no cost to Vudu (or us) and we get something else to boot.

        MaxH I would normally agree with saving the credits I have but unless im mistaken I do believe the credits expire after so long and I curfently have no intention of putting anymore money on vudu atm cuz I usually buy the retail movie

        Jeremymc7 I would love to know how to pull that info from the database cuz I use spreadsheets quite often if you would be kind to inform me on how that would be done I'd love to know ( also that does list the price with the movies also right?)

          I couldn't tell you personally. There has been discussion somewhere is in the forum about scraping the Vudu website for metadata and pulling into spreadsheets. I'm not too capable on that front. If you drill through the forum I'm sure you'll find it. Otherwise if you want to do it yourself I'm sure there's plenty of help on Google about how to do it.
