    Digital copy on disc

I have several movies that I have a disc for the digital copy, I don't like storing movies on my devices as they take up so much room so I am wondering if there is anyway (without paying to convert from disc to digital) to add these digital copies to my vudu collection? Thank you

The only possibility is to contact the studio and ask for a UV code in exchange for the Digital Copy code. Of course, this will can only work with UV participant studios.

Speedaddict81, you might want to read the question again. She has digital copy DISCS, not digital copy CODES. I'm curious about the answer, too.

So you're asking how to get a free digital copy of a movie you own on disc? You will still have to pay to get the disc converted into a digital copy on Vudu, if it's eligible.

No he read the question right. Digital copy discs are the way older movies with iTunes copies came, before the cloud was a thing. So, if the movie came with a digital copy disc, it also came with a digital copy code.

His answer is correct or you could try D2D if it is an eligible title and pay the small fee.

Back in the day, I had my digital movie collection on a laptop and the drive died. Back then, I really disliked iTunes so all were the Windows versions. I kept all my code sheets and discs so I was able to email each company (paramount, wb, universal, disney, etc) and explain my situation and the majority of them issued me new codes so I could retrieve my movies. I went and added them to iTunes this time around because Windows media was going away, so to speak. When Vudu came around, I tried my codes there and found that a few actually worked...mostly the WB ones. DMA showed up and my disney movies ported over when I connected the 2 services. The rest, I did D2D at Walmart and in-home. With all that said, I'm going to go with you are out of luck if you want to get UV copies from the digital copy discs. You will need either a DVD or Bluray to convert or try using the codes (which are probably expired). You can't use the digital copy discs to "prove ownership" of the movie. So, any way you look at it, you are probably going to have to pay to get the digital copy into your vudu collection.
