    Re-Starting Purchased HDX Movies

I have VUDU on a ROKU 3 box....Whenever I go to view my purchased and partially viewed HDX movies, I only see the option for "Resume HDX"..... I can't find the option for "Start from the beginning" for these movies..... Where is it ???
My Apple TV I-Tunes purchased movies Main Menu Screen has the 2 options (resume & start again) so I am assuming that VUDU does as well but I can't find it.... Thanks !

You aren't seeing it because it is not there.

Vudu (at least so far) does not have the feature to Start from the Beginning, only to resume. This is one reason that after I finish a movie, I let the credits play until the end of the file, so next time I select the title, it will start from the Beginning.

I don't watch 'till the end, I just use the chapters setting to go back to the first chapter.

Thanks for explaining, BUT.... Is VUDU a "VCR" service, where I have to rewind the movie just like the old VHS tapes ?... You would think that in 2014 a digital HD 1080p PPV service would not behave like a 1980 analog VCR....

How can we push VUDU to include this obviously needed movie option of "Start from the beginning" ?.... Thanks !

I'd like to see this feature too. Netflix used to have this feature as well, and we used it quite a bit, but when they revamped their app the feature was removed.

To restart the movie, click on the "resume button, and then the controls at the bottom will show six rectangles. Click it and it will show the chapters, and you just select Chapter 1

Yeah, except it starts playing the media right away. You literally cannot restart media without it playing first. This is known issue that Vudu has received numerous complaints about for years. Believe me, if they cared enough to fix it they would have fixed it already. The only thing anyone can do is keep submitting complaints (I try to submit a complaint at least once a year, if not twice) and maybe someone in the company who has authority to add this feature will care enough to change it. Honestly, if customers are complaining about this, commonly, for years, and there's no movement on it, the only logical conclusion is that it's just not that important to Vudu.

This is one of my greatest pet peeves as well. I don't want to jump into the middle or even the end of a movie and see a major spoiler before I can restart it from the beginning.
