    Vizio UHD rental problem.

    Help! I'm having trouble with my Vizio 2015 M60-C3 playing UHD titles after renting. This isn't a connectivity or bandwidth speed problem. I've run multiple speed tests and have more than enough bandwidth. What happens it's my movie simply refuses to play when the UHD format is selected and won't start till HDX is selected. Has there been an update that might have caused this bug?! Anyone else having this problem, I don't want to keep renting the UHD format at a more expensive price if I can only play in HDX. This has only recently started happening with UHD titles never had a problem in the past.

    Have you contacted customer care so they can troubleshoot your issue?

      Has this been resolved??? I rented Justice League, and it didn't work. I got refunded for the movie. Today I am trying out Blade runner, still the same issue. The movie does play in HDX. But when I switch it back the UHD. Black screen. I also have a M60-C3...

        Hi Joka,

        Could you give me your firmware version on the TV? You should find it in the the system info page in the Vizio menu. Could you also send me your Vudu client version? That should be listed in Vudu under system info in settings.

              Just tried Geo storm. Same issue. The movie timer is 0:00 and doesn't play. I set it to HDX. And it plays. I gotta call customer service to reimburse me for the 4K movie now.

                              I tested a new firmware last night to see if it resolved the issue, but, it appears that there are still some adjustments to be be made before an update is pushed to customers.
