Yea Justice League UHD drops too.
I basically assume that no UHD movie will work at this point correctly on VUDU and that it?s broken until fixed.

I don't think it will ever be fixed if Vudu keeps ignoring us and pretending like this thread doesn't exist. Notice how they've been replying to almost every other thread in the Technical Help section -- but not this one.

Have the same issues with Vudu, with the audio dropouts, no issues with UHD on fandango. (Own a LG C6 using hdmi arc to sound bar)

I discovered this, hopefully temporary fix using VUDU:

If you limit the bandwidth to 10-11 meg, the dropouts stopped, when I went to 12, they were noticable. Setting up some qos seems to make it a little better but actually limiting the bandwidth seemed to work the best.

(not sure if this reduced video quality but my eyes seem to think so )

I hope there is a real fix soon as well, as without limitations on bandwidth, I was seeing it burst up to 30-50 meg or so.

Hopefully this will work for more people.

Rigth now, I try to watch in fandango whenever possible, thankfully the ultraviolet carries most of the titles over, even in UHD in some cases.

Is there a different device I can consider getting to stream Dolby Vision? Seems like an extreme option, but I really want to enjoy my DV titles properly.

I bought a Chromecast Ultra a few months ago when this issue started. It worked for a few weeks, but then newer UHD titles stopped streaming to the Chromecast in UHD. It's a known issue and Vudu says that a fix is coming soon, but they've been saying that for weeks. See the last few pages of this thread.

So, no - there currently is no other device you can buy to stream Dolby Vision Vudu content. Your only option would be to buy a new 2017/2018 LG OLED TV (at least $2,000). So, Vudu: can you see why I'm so upset about this issue? Short of buying a new TV, there is absolutely no way for us LG C6 OLED owners to stream your Dolby Vision titles. It's time for Vudu to step up and take some responsibility.

I agree, this has taken way too long. Once Vudu started supporting HDR-10, they screwed up on Dolby Vision.

Just downloaded Fandango Now on my C6. All of the UHD movies I have work fine there. Will be my new go to app for movie purchases and rentals from now on.

Does this mean my VUDU movies work with Fandango NOW? Or am I misreading some of the above statements. If I can use Fandango NOW with Vudu movies, how do I do it?

If you link all your digital accounts through Movies Anywhere most movies will flow over to most major services. Personally I've seen digital video hiccups while watching movies on FandangoNOW. I watched Happy Death Day UHD on it Friday night. Picture got all garbled for 1 second 2-3 times.

I'll stick to streaming Vudu UHD through other devices for now. Just really wish there was one that supported Dolby Vision. That's what got me hooked for buying digital releases. That extra layer just seems to make some things really pop. Maybe Vudu or LG will figure it out soon.

FandangoNOW (FN) does not participate in Movies Anywhere, but they are an UltraViolet provider. If you have both your Vudu and FN accounts linked to UltraViolet, then your Vudu UHD purchases should port over to FN (assuming FN has the movie in UHD).

But like you said, I have also experienced several video glitches with the FN app on my C6. The picture gets all pixelated and discolored at random times. But hey -- at least the audio works!

The following statement is from Zu's House of Data.

(((About 10 days ago, FandangoNow added flags on over 5200 movies denoting whether they're Movies Anywhere enabled. So I'd expect FandangoNow to join Movies Anywhere in the future. Starting tomorrow I'm going to put MA in the reports))).

Hope this is true...I have titles there that just might port out elsewhere.

This issue is still going on. Vudu needs to get this fixed asap. Sound even pops in and out when just playing through the TV speakers. It used to work fine. This is definitely a software issue on Vudu's end and they need to fix it asap.

I'm glad I found this thread for this issue. I been struggling with sound issues with all content that is 4K with ATMOS.

                            My set-up is as follow:

                            LG OLED 65C6P
                            Sonos Sound Bar 5.1 Set-Up
                            Optical Audio to Sound Bar

The issue seems with audio cutting out and have tried switching to PCM but notice it still has sound issues. This only happens with VUDU App 4K content but no issues with Netflix 4k, Amazon 4K, and PS4 Pro 4K.

It seems like there's some issues with the codec in VUDU app cause I notice it switches from stereo to dolby a lot when its atmos.

I have a C6 55" OLED and am having the same choppy sound on UHD titles. I am running sound in a Samsung soundbar via the optical cable. I don't seem to have issues with HDX titles. Just UHD. It's frustrating when you pay for a new UHD like Justice League or Thor Ragnarok and your sound is intermittently choppy through the entire movie.

Not saying this is a permanent fix, or even acceptable but if you are able to limit the bandwidth to the TV at 10,11 meg, the dropouts seem to stop. I agree though there does seem to be an issue with the App or TV that can not handle the extra bandwidth, or something gets corrupted at some point.
