I want a refund for the movie that I purchased UHD, Avengers Trilogy. You guys aren't fixing it, and worse, not communicating. I posted a request on 25-NOV and its been more than a month. I want the same movie pack in HDX but a refund for the difference of UHD. And I would like a response.

      Hi Mebarmy,

My apologies, this issue is being tracked in a different thread. I believe there is a USB update you can download from the Samsung site to fix the issue, or the network update will happen at a later date. You can read more here: https://forum.vudu.com/forum/technic...053#post485053. If you need to speak with someone in support you can call at 888-554-8838.

I've been noticing the volume on the latest Predator movie having issues. Hard to deacride, like someone covered the speakers over to muffle the sound. It would go back and forth through out the movie. Could still hear everything but a little annoying when you watch everything in 5.1 surround sound. Y receiver is an ancient RCA Dolby 5.1 unit hooked up to a 1080p 55-inch Vizio TV via RCA cables. This is the first movie I have noticed the issue with. I dropped my audio from bitstream to PCM after reading this thread and so far that seems to have resolved the issue. And dropping to PCM I am still getting 5.1 sound or at least it seems that way when testing during very noticeable surround effects.

I know I need a new receiver soon. Mine has been kicking around since DVD'S first came out. Bought it at Circuit City...lol

I can confirm that downloading the newest firmware and installing via USB solved the UHD audio problems for my Samsung Q8. Hope it helps everyone else!

Going on 2 years of still having this issue on my LG C6...has there seriously been no legitimate fix for this?

Been with Vudu a long time, just started buying UHD as I finally upgraded to a 43" Sharp Roku 4K TV and I purchased a Yamaha Atmos receiver Model TSR-5810... and noticed when I stream the UHD movies I bought, the audio stutters, drops, skips, etc. Stumbled upon this thread and thought i'd see if there's been a solution but I'm guessing not? I've replaced cables believing that was the issue, but I believe it's Vudu's issue and not my equipment. I have no picture issues just sound and it's always Atmos audio that has the issue streaming, not dolby +, the problem goes away right away. There's way too many pages on this topic to go through quickly so just wondering if anyone has any kind of solution or as someone mentioned earlier, is vudu refunding for UHD titles where this issue is occurring?

Anyway, some of the titles with the issues are Blade Runner 2049, Solo and the new Godzilla that I purchased last week. Again, all have Atmos sound and glitch and drop/pop during playback, not during dialogue usually but during explosions, low end bass jumps, etc. My Sharp tv just did an update on Sept 14th but the problem still exists, it's been doing this for months btw, I initially contacted Vudu directly via email and they led me to believe it was my cables or system. It would have been nice to know about this forum but they never mentioned it. Anyway... Updated the Yamaha recently as well. Please help/respond Vudu. Thank you in advance.

Recently bought a Sony Bravia 4k tv. Began experiencing the same issues discussed on this forum with sound skipping and tried several things as everyone else, but the only thing I have found that has worked is to change my sound setting from Dolby Digital Plus to Dolby Digital. I have sound passing through my Yamaha receiver. Now experiencing no further issues with UHD and HDX titles on Vudu.
