VUDU App on My LG TV Won't Work Properly.

        Not sure if the update will work BUT Thank you VUDU Team for looking into this. This is a big problem. I'll test drive it later

          Did the update last night and for the first time in 6 months, I was able to stream content on my LG tv. Thanks for the fix.

            So far so good! Updated the app on our two LG's that have had the issues and so far the performance is much more acceptable! Thanks for the fix.

              This seems to have started again after upgrading WebOS to 5.30.25. Playing a HDX movie and after 20-30 minutes the video freezes but audio still plays. Nothing but unplugging the TV for 30 seconds seems to fix it. After another 20-30 minutes it happens again.

                Can you please PM me the email address you use with Vudu and the following details so we can take a closer look at this issue.

                -Model of your LG TV
                -Hardwired or wireless connection

                    FelipeF Ove the past 2 days I've started having a different issue with my LG OLED 65E6P and the Vudu app. When I attempt to stream a movie, it will constantly buffer and suggest that I switch to SD. When i check my speed, I am getting 120mbps down and every other app will play content just fine. I have to switch over to my AppleTV and use the Vudu app on it to watch movies. Can we please get someone to look into this?

                      We are already investigating this issue. I'll update this thread when I have more information.

                          Can you play a trailer? If so, it might be a known LG bug with DRM, you may need to hard power cycle the TV.

                          If trailers don't work either, it's not that issue and we will need to investigate further.

                            I have the same problem. I can stream VUDU, and HDX works most of the time, but UHD keeps interrupting and wanting to knock me down to HDX. Sometime even HDX doesn't stream right and suggests SD. It's been 3 weeks since FelipeF's post , how is the investigation of the issue going?

                                Have you tried going through customer support? There are clearly several unrelated issues in this topic - some we believe have been resolved. If you are having occasional streaming problems, it's likely unrelated to the app, and more likely some networking issues between your TV and our servers that might need trourbleshooting.
