    Lucy - UHD to HDX

    I redeemed this title in iTunes in 4K. MoviesAnywhere's transaction shows it was 4K, Vudu's transactions shows it as UHD, and it was UHD until recently, now it's HDX. Is this normal?

    And after unlinking Vudu from MA and reconnecting it's back to UHD.

        It seems every time I close out my browser and come back, the quality changes. Is this a known issue? I have been offline for the past week, so I may be out of the loop on this.

          Might want to check all your UHD movies. I have more than one affected that has gone UHD to HDX.

          Looks like I have a couple titles affected too.

          Tried unlinking and relinking, some titles went back to UHD, some other titles changed from UHD to HDX. All titles show in my transaction history show that UHD are owned on vudu, but on individual title pages shows only HDX and need to purchase UHD. All titles having problems are titles porting in from MA.

          Wonder if it's a UV vs MA issue. Everything has been fine since the beginning, now looks like something got broke. Whatever it is it is only happening on vudu.
          Movies are fine in Fandangonow and Apple they show UHD. And everything shows UHD owned in MA.

              Received a reply from support... who told me the title is no longer UHD in my library because I deleted it today?? Does support not know you have to contact THEM in order to have a title removed?? And if I had it removed, it wouldn't still be there in a lesser quality. Vudu, you need to get your act together.

                  I am not seeing an MA account linked to your Vudu account. That's why Lucy was removed from your Vudu account. Lucy is in HDX as of now because back in October 1, 2015 you acquired Lucy in HDX on Vudu.

                    Can you explain why a couple of my titles are having the same problem, my MA account is connected I just added Black Panther. So I know I am connected.

                      MA told me to unlink and relink, which fixed it for 30 minutes. Once Vudu support said it was gone all together, I unlinked everything because this sharing is becoming a mess! I will relink one more time in hopes of getting this fixed, but I doubt it will happen at this point.

                        Yes, I do see that you have a valid MA link to your Vudu account. MA might be having issues at the moment. I've synced up your MA link to make your account current.

                        What movies are you referring to?

                          Relinked everything now. Still shows as HDX, yet the Vudu transactions show UHD. I didn't think titles would drop in quality if unlinked? When I unlinked none of my other titles went from UHD to HDX, so that makes zero sense.

                            Vudu transactions is just a log of movies that have been or on your account. I'm asking to see if there's an issue with MA.

                              Yeah something is going on. Looks like it's only affecting "Universal" titles. A little chatter is going on other forums.

                              Wonder if it's a UV vs MA problem. This is a title I owned earlier in vudu, before the MA version ported in. Was working fine when it first went UHD on vudu.
